Excellent Sound From Fully-Powered, Well-Balanced Speakers

Went from tinny single speaker to stereo well-balanced speakers. Quality of the sound is excellent, even being able to hear the announcer's voice over the crowd noise at a soccer match. And I finally have the answer to the question I asked about onboard volume control - the answer is that it should state "in-line" volume control; there is a volume control knob in the cord's connection line.

UPDATE: July, 8th: I continue to enjoy these speakers so much so that I've just ordered my second pair of them for my other laptop computer. Lenovo makes a great computer, but not so much on the speakers. These "Multimedia Speakers" are the ideal, inexpensive replacements. The speakers arrived today. I unpacked them and plugged them in via a USB, 4 port hub and a 3 foot,3.5 mm extension cord, and these speakers rival my HD television's medium-strength HD audio sound.

That's not an exaggeration, These speakers are hooked-up to the headphone jack on a Lenovo R61i, which has pretty wretched audio. And when my Aide came in, she thought it was my HD Television that the sound was coming from! If you even think you might need speakers, this is the one to get. And no, I have no financial involvement with the company, nor gain any investment through them.

Unbeatable at twice the price!

At ~$10.00, these speakers sound better than many that cost three times the price.
All I wanted was a reasonable sounding pair of small speakers, and I did not want to spend much cash.
This product delivers!

I found them to be crisp and clear, even at higher volumes.
True stereo, they lack much base response (which is to be expected).
However, given their size, it is perfectly acceptable.

If you find the playback from your iPhone or other mobile device satisfactory (all things considered), then these will exceed your expectations!

If you are looking for a decent set of small speakers at a great price, then these are for you.

I am glad to get inexpensive speakers that will fit on top of my screen. I actually have a PC (I know I am hopelessly old fashioned, but it is a new one). In the last year I have killed 2 speakers by consistently knocking them off the desk. Now the speakersthey aren't on my desk and sound better than the 2 dead pairs ever did.

a small problem

Speakers work great and do the job.. My only complaint is that the clips that hook onto the laptop shell Arre designed much to loose and keep slipping off. I built them up with some cardboard wedges.
