Great (so far)

I just got this battery yesterday and so far I am quite pleased. However, keep in mind my expectations were low.

I am using this battery in my HP DV6 (a 2010ish model). The battery is not a perfect fit and the lip of it sticks out ever so slightly from the casing of the laptop. However, it does lock into place securely and I am confident it will not fall out. After connecting the battery I waited to turn on the laptop until it was fully charged. So far it has lasted 1:10 (hour and ten minutes) while doing web browsing and watching YouTube videos at about 65% brightness and the battery is now at 49%. At this rate I would expect to reach 2 hours on a single charge.

With brightness turned down more, Wifi card off, and only doing simple tasks (such as using MS Word) I believe it could be possible to reach 3+ hours on a single charge.

Now, 2 hours on a single charge is nothing incredible. But seeing as the battery only cost around $15 and my other battery held no charge at all, I am pleased. However, time will tell if the quality of this battery will last. For all I know, the battery may quickly lose it's ability to hold a charge and be dead in a month. If that is the case, I will try to return and update my review. But for now, I would recommend this product.

It spec's out to a slightly higher capacity (5200 mAH vs 4800 mAH) than the original but it doesn't seem to have any more run-time than the original battery, when the original was new.
