I bought this for my mom because she needed a new bag for her Macbook Pro. It came in the mail and she immediately fell in love with it for its size and slimness. Not only that but it had enough pockets to hold not only her computer but a couple of her textbooks as well. The material feels like it could be water resistant. I was pretty tempted to keep it for myself. Mom will be traveling abroad in a couple months, and I won't be surprised to see if she takes this backpack along with her! I received this product in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

With seven storage areas, this rugged yet stylish backpack can hold quite a bit. On the outside front are two zippered pockets for quick access to note book, tablet, keys, or snacks. On the inside are large pockets for an I pad or small laptop. There are even a couple smaller pockets for storing cell phone, keys or even some eye pads.
I like the nylon construction of the backpack that makes it seem resistant to a quick walk in the rain from car to destination. The metal zippers for the storage compartments feel solid and slide smoothly when opening and closing.
Carrying the backpack on your back is comfortable with the padded, adjustable straps. If you would rather just carry the bag, on top is secured a metal handle in a silver color that matches the colors of the zipper pulls.

Before ordering this item, check the listed measurements to make sure it will suit your needs. It is about 11 inches wide.

The 10 backpacks on this page are all different sizes and styles click on each one to see the size and style, I got the last one (on the right hand side ) the 13 inch purple backpack with no side pockets.

Absolutely gorgeous in the deep purple color, accented with the quality aluminum handle, zippers and large matching zipper pulls. This is a stylish, well made pack that will stand up to daily use and last. The outside material is easy to clean, just wipe off with a damp cloth and it even protects your laptop if you are caught in a rainstorm, it is water resistant and will keep your tablet or laptop dry.

The design is almost perfect, four separate large, zippered pockets organize and provide easy access for all of your essentials, and the padding provides excellent protection for up to a 13 inch laptop. The Large aluminum handle is comfortable in addition to being stylish. The padded back pack straps are comfortable to carry even with a load and provide hands free carrying.

1. Smallest front pocket is a good size and can hold cords and plugs, phone,

Second Front pocket, has extra material on each side so the pocket will tip out and open wide, this extra material has a tendency to catch in the zipper if you are not careful, however there are 2 zipper pulls on this pocket and no need to unzip it all the way for most uses, just zip both pulls up to the top of these flaps and use one to open and close.

3. Large Zippered top pocket is large enough for most books, papers etc and boasts 2 small side pockets and 2 narrow pockets for pens all without closures.

4. Large back pocket is divided into two pockets one padded for your laptop or tablet and one for other items.

Attractive Backpack - Fiddly Zipper Action

I believe the handle is actually plastic, yet comfortable and solid feeling. Rather like it more than the typical handles one finds on backpacks (plus rather eye-catching stylish, matching the metal zippers/front branding plate). This is one rather sticky bit, however: the large front pocket has extending panels on each side, and both of them get caught on the zippers, requiring me sticking my hand inside to pull them out of the way. That aspect needs to be re-designed, perhaps placing the panels on the inside of the pocket instead of flush against the zipper path.

I show this in my video, as well as physical layout of the backpack.

NIce looking backpack with some nice features

I like this bag. It is a relatively small and lightweight backpack suitable for either onboard travel (it will easily fit under the seat or in the overhead compartment of any commercial plane) or school. There is a zippered pocket for a smaller laptop or a tablet. The pocket is reasonably padded and has a velcro loop closure to keep it from jostling around. There are 3 other zippered compartments in this bag and all are generously sized to take advantage of the full size of the bag. One up front that is smaller and perfect for storing keys, cell phone, etc for easy access. Two other larger compartment, one of which has spots for pens or small note pads. These seemed like a bit of an afterthought but at least they are there. I'd love to see a few small zippered compartments inside but this doesn't have them.

The stitching seems good. The shoulder straps seem a bit thin and I am not sure how they would hold up to rugged use. I checked and I did see that they are double or triple stitched onto the bag so this is good. The zippers are durable with really nice pulls. One of my zippers keeps getting stuck on the internal material and I have to finagle it open. Overall the bag is fairly attractive in this lovely grape color. Not a fancy or stylish design but attractive. At the time of this writing the bag sells for a bit under fifty dollars which seems steep when you look at what you are getting here. As I said, I am not sure how well this would hold up to life as a daily book bag. The shoulder straps seem fragile. There is a nice metal (brushed aluminum perhaps?) handle atop this bag for easy lifting. I like that touch.

BOTTOM LINE: A nice looking and decent bag. I am giving it four stars but that might be generous.
