Thick, and Started to Fall Apart, Great Customer Service

I bought this case for Mac book Air. This case is small but a little bit thicker than I expected and the pockets started to rip after light usage. There is a thin leather case that is much nicer and last a little bit longer, would not buy again.

Update:

While I will not change my initial review on this product, I will update my review to say that the Customer Service from the vendor is phenomenal. After writing the review the vendor contacted me, and wanted to provide me a partial refund, instead of getting a partial refund I asked them simply to send me the leather replacement case, without hesitation the vendor sent me another case free shipping via UPS. I respect and trust this vendor,

Great for 13" Macbook Air

This review is for the grey felt sleeve with the elastic band.
This sleeve fits my 13" Macbook Air perfectly...a snug fit in the best sense. Unlike the other sleeves on this page, there are no magnets in this sleeve.
I carry the sleeve inside my bag, but it is holding together well and the felt is not shedding.
Be aware that this sleeve provides minimal extra protection (but you don't buy a minimalist sleeve for the protection).
I would recommend this sleeve for 13" Macbook Air and would purchase again.

works but annoying little details

Pros:
- fits well
- cheap
- inside of bag is soft and will not scratch your macbook

Cons:
- because of the material, anything u put in the side pockets slides out. i dropped my portable hd once : (
- side pockets are too thin,i had trouble fitting the charger there.
- lots of debree( little fur from the edges where material was cut) got all over my macbook and the usb drive i tried keeping in the side pockets. I tried wiping it and using a lint roller, but more kept coming from all the edges.
- material is kind of stiff so you have to keep the flap secured with the elastic band or your bag will open

I ended up buying a zippered sleeve for the same price and i am happy with it.

I really like this sleeve and feel that it would be amazing, but it doesn't fit my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro 13.3. Just thought I'd post on here to warn any other Yoga owners that are considering this as a purchase. But, the Yoga is not listed as a computer that it fits, but I thought I'd take a shot.

Great Eco-Friendly Sleeve – as long as it fits your laptop! (Read this and then measure your laptop.)

I think the main issue for most people is trying to decide on whether this sleeve will fit their laptop, so I’ll get into that first. I actually bought the Macbook Pro sleeve (ASIN: B00DE80OUG) because it was their largest product—it’s a little bigger than this sleeve which is designed for the Macbook Air (ASIN: B00C62CHT2). However according to the specs, the only difference between these two sleeves is that the Macbook Pro sleeve is 10 mm longer than the Macbook Air sleeve, so actually they are the same size in the two dimensions that matter most (width and thickness). I could barely slide my Asus 13.3” laptop into the Macbook Pro sleeve at first—the snugness is due mainly to the thickness of the laptop; mine is just under 1.5” thick at the battery side, so I think any laptops over 1.5” thick will be too large for either sleeve. Like a pair of shoes, the sleeve will loosen up a little bit over time, but not a huge amount. My estimate is that the largest laptop this Air sleeve can accommodate would be 13” wide, 10.5” long, and 1.5” thick.

So, actually I’d get this Macbook Air version if I was to choose again and then I wouldn’t have so much extra space on the length. Perhaps that’s why the Macbook Air version is the better seller; few laptops are over 10.5” long. The extra length is not a big deal either way — the laptop is never in any danger of falling out since I have to grip the sleeve in one hand and the laptop in the other to drag the laptop out of the sleeve! It fits inside my small Timbuk2 messenger bag, but it does add a little bulk — about the same as a 150-page magazine. But there’s no doubt that it keeps my laptop very secure and well insulated from the impact of little knocks.Read more ›

This is an outstanding product, especially given its price! It fits the March 2015 MacBook Air 13" perfectly. The inner lining is velvety and wont scratch your Mac. Seams are well-sewn, the felt is attractive and free of defects (though it does "shed" a little when first taken from the package, a quick pass with a garment brush takes care of that, as with any felt product).

The accessory pockets are sewn well, but are not lined; they're just felt; this shouldn't be a problem for most phone screens (it's definitely not for the iPhone), but may scratch more delicate items. I keep earbuds and a spare iPhone cable in the larger pocket, and they're held snugly in place.

The sleeve weighs almost nothing and adds minimal bulk while providing excellent scratch protection and a bit of impact protection. However, it is NOT an impact-safe case (nor does it claim to be!), so if you're worried about drops and falls, you'll want something more robust.
