Great Replacement Fan

I needed to remove an addition screw on the fan so that it would work with my ProBook 4530s. Once that was done however it worked perfectly.

Note: If purchasing this to replace the fan in the ProBook 4530s you practically need to completely disassemble the laptop to do so. There was more than twenty screws that needed to be removed and around seven ribbon cables. If your purchasing this you will need to be very comfortable with laptop assembly and well organized for the project with my model.

TL;DR Ordered the wrong fan, still works perfectly

I had bought this as a replacement fan for the one in my laptop. My current fan was vibrating and over all very loud. When I looked up the model I thought this was the right one, but it wasn't (my mistake, I didn't read it right). This fan was almost exactly the same as my other one just slightly smaller. Once it was installed it didn't fit the seal quite right but it still cools properly. It's not SILENT but it's definitely quiet, normal fan volume.

For buying the wrong fan, it works beautifully

I bought this product last year to replace my fan of which the bearing was going out. It is everything I expected. There is no noticable difference between the noise levels of this fan verses the OEM. The price was right. The only reason why I rated it 4 stars is because I don't know how durable the fan will be over the long hull.
