Great low cost fan replacement that is almost too big to fit..

This fan worked great as a replacement for my HP laptop. The only issue is the fan body is just a bit thicker than the original fan in the laptop. Due to this, the fit was snug, very snug.

The terrible part is that HP did not design replacing this fan for the novice. This is not an issue for the fan or the seller, but that of HP designing the laptop to only be fixed by those that know what they are doing. The entire laptop has to taken apart to replace this fan. With the exception of the screen side of the clam shell.

GOOD REPLACEMENT FAN AT A FAIR PRICE.
Used to replace a broken fan on HP G62 Laptop. Lots of dis-assembly required including the motherboard and the removal of the CPU and GPU Cooling assembly to remove the fan. Be sure to have heat sink compound on hand for the CPU. I used a cup cake tray to label and put the screws in as they were removed. Replacement not difficult, just tedious.

Waste of time and money

This fan did not work. The power connector on the fan has a 4 wire connector(larger). The fan that is in my HP G62-347NR has a 3 wire connector. The HP G62-347NR model is clearly listed as a compatible model. I disassembled my laptop today only to find that the fan connector didn't fit. Waste of time and money.
