Then I decided to find out how much the actual part was and was shocked o.0. Watched a simple repair video and thanks to amazon I saved over $112 with the purchase of this fan. Makes less noise them my original fan and seems to be running perfect.

Great replacement fan

Used this fan to repair my cousin's laptop. Pretty easy to replace. I do this for a living though so I don't know how easy it'd be for someone who's never torn apart a laptop. Here are my 2 recommendations though: 1) BACKUP YOUR DATA FIRST. You never know what might happen. Always have a backup :) and 2) Check out YouTube. There is probably a video of someone replacing this part so you can get some step-by-step instructions. Pay attention, be careful, and you'll be fine.

Worse than that I saw the 3 pin molex was ...

This fan will fit but is NOT an EXACT replacement. Worse than that I saw the 3 pin molex was not wired with the identical color sequence of the original but installed it anyhow hoping it would work. It did not and had to take the laptop apart again. I returned it and tried a different fan and it was an exact replacement part and worked perfectly.

Works great and fits perfect, but the install is a little complicated. Factory fan quit and the laptop was overheating. This solved the problem but you have to take apart the computer. Understandable but be ready for the task.
