This bad boy saved my laptop. I had like 6 keys that weren't working. I was going to junk my computer, but looked up a video on YouTube on how to swap out the keyboard. Realized it wasn't that hard, so I came on here, bought the keyboard, and some RAM to upgrade the memory. Spent like $40 total on the two things, now my computer is running like new! Doubled the speed, have a brand new keyboard, it's great.

But yes, this review is about the keyboard. It's great. Went on perfectly, fit my CQ60 like a champ, no problems at all. It took me a grand total of 5 minutes to swap it out. Best money ever spent!

Two keys broken within 3 months

I bought this product when my laptop had a key break after 5 years of use. The product was shipped quickly and as described which I appreciated. To be clear, service in delivery was great. Product, however, is a poor quality product. Within 3 months of purchasing this product the #4 key and the X key have both broken on the keyboard. These are not keys that get extensive use and as this is a work computer that only i use it does not get the abuse that the family computer gets. Overall, disappointed in the product. In 25 years of owning computers i have never had keyboards break like this.

Great keyboard

I had this keyboard for my laptop since i bought it then i happened to do some button mashing and broke off a key (W key to be more precise) now i know the reason was not the keyboard was poorly made i just happen to take my button mashing a bit seriously.

Since then i bought a new one its so easy to install and it fits snug and tight in my G60 laptop have had no problems with it so far easy to clean.

The keyboard on my HP G60 finally wore out. I called HP and the wanted $60 bucks for a replacement keyboard. I figured I'd give this a shot. It's GREAT! It is the exact same keyboard for a LOT less money. I didn't know how to replace it, so I did a search on you tube and found a video on how to do so. It was very ease. Remove the battery, remove three screws. Turn it over and unplug the data cable and do the reverse to install. Took five minutes.
