Eathtek New CPU Cooling Fan for Toshiba Satellite P775 series.

I've got this fan as a replacement to my Toshiba Satellite P775-S7320 fan. The fan works great, and the air flow stronger than my old fan, so yeah it'll make it cooler. My processor temperature with the old fan could go near to the 60s C and sometimes goes above that if I do hard core multi tasking. With this fan, I see the processor temperature narrow down the heat to 40s C, and if I do my regular multi tasking (same I did with the old one) it goes up to nearly 60s C. So yeah, it do such of work. But now, I'm using a cooling pad and it the heat goes down further (around 30s with no multi tasking, and between 40s and 50s with multi tasking).

Why I gave it 3 stars ?
Because of two things, firstly, in the picture it says "2 pack" which means that I should received a pack of 2 fans, and I only got ONE!
Secondly, this fan is not compatible with P775 series, because the connector has only 3-pin and the P775 series has 4-pin, which made me adjust the connector and replace the connector for the new fan with the old fan connector (just cut and connect the cables together). The fan design is compatible with P775, so it will be placed without problems and this is the only thing is compatible with.

Just what I needed.

Exact-fit for my Toshiba Satellite P755 notebook. Installation was easy and fan works excellent. Pro-tip: Don't attempt removal and replacement of the fan until you look up the steps to disassemble/reassemble your Toshiba. The only gripe is that I had to take the notebook completely apart to replace the fan, but that's just the design of the notebook. It could have been worse: I could have been having to replace the cooling fan on a MacBook! Anyone who's tried to repair one of those would understand what I mean. Had the complete job done in about 26 minutes.

Works as it should

This fan seems slightly less powerful than the original, but it certainly does the job. Just remember that you have to completely disassemble the laptop, which is not a trivial matter, nor is reassembling it. You also have to remove and reapply thermal paste to the heat sinks. Be gentle with the plastic parts, they are most likely brittle due to age. Good luck.
