I was very frustrated when I got this because I couldn't find a video to show me how to install it. I removed all of the screws that I could see and still couldn't figure it out. After whining on Facebook, my cousin found this video on Youtube that showed me exactly how to replace it. It took all of five minutes. The video is in Spanish, but it is so easy that I didn't have any problems figuring it out. I'm typing this on the new keyboard, and it is working fine. Here's the video:

Simple OEM Replacement

It works great now! We had to install it twice. The first time the ribbon cable was not on securely and it still had keys that did not work. The latches for the ribbon cable are tiny and difficult to work with, Since the laptop is only a year old, I'm so glad this fixed it! The Spanish You Tube video helped a lot. It is the only video for specific model laptop I have.

Functional, but lacking.

Seller I got from was iMkeyboard :
Product was a very low quality replacement. Several (3-4) keys would barely depress and had to be hit fairly hard to register (not like slamming the keys down, but you had to use more force than you would generally use when typing normally), once I popped off the keys and looked at them there were bits of extra plastic on the underside of the brackets which prevented them from laying flat and I had to use a razor blade to trim them so the key would work properly. Like if pieces of a model airplane was popped from a mold poorly.

Some of the keys also seemed to look a different color than the others, like a slightly different shade of black. And the spacebar, while it functioned properly, did not sit flush with the rest of the keys. The keyboard as a whole felt quite a bit flimsier than the original, and the keys used a different enough bracket that the old keyboard couldn't be used for spare keys.

Packaging was essentially the keyboard in its box thrown in a much larger box with hardly any packing material.

The keyboard and all keys did work, however, just the quality was lacking (I've definitely used much better quality replacement keyboards that were even cheaper, so its not even a 'you get what you pay for' scenario.)

Easy installation and works perfectly!

I LOVE it!! I have had issues with the keyboard on my laptop from the moment I bought it. The I, S, V, M, and space bar keys did not work properly and I always had to go back over every single thing I typed and put spaces and missing letters in. Then the Up, Down and Side to side arrows as well as the delete key stopped working. It was so frustrating I abandoned my less than a year old computer and started using my old laptop. Then I found this replacement keyboard available on Amazon and decided to give it a try.
It arrived quickly of course, and to my delight, a simple youtube video and 5 minutes and the installation was complete. For the first time my laptop is working perfectly and I love this keyboard!!! It has given me my computer back and I can finally type without having to go back and correct everything. Maybe now I can write that great american novel.........

A Nightmare Became A Fun Project

When I spilled coffee on my almost new Toshiba, it fried the keyboard. I was just about to take it to a shop or even get a new one when I came across this keyboard on Amazon for only $30. After a little digging, I found a couple of You Tube videos that show how simple it is to do this job yourself. You'll need 2 small screwdrivers, about 10 minutes and just a bit of patience: Remove one screw from the back and pop out a few tabs along the bottom of the keys. Then release the wire ribbon from its clip and the old one comes out. Connect the new ribbon, snap the unit in place, re-install the screw and the laptop is as good as new. There are other keyboards here but with sketchy reviews. This one fits and works perfectly; I'm using it now. With Prime, it was even delivered on a holiday. What could have been an expensive nightmare, turned into a fun project.
