Good Replacement

Good product. Arrived in the mail a day earlier than promised. Other reviews are correct about a grounded plug (3 pronged) and the cord is a bit shorter than the factory cord, however neither of these is a non-issue to me. The alternative is to spend $50+ from factory direct or a universal product from a place like Best Buy. So far I am happy with my purchase.

One Fatal Flaw

I haven't owned this product long enough to evaluate its quality. So far that seems fine. My problem is that the cord between the "brick" part and the plug into the computer is extremely short (close to 2 feet shorter than my old PS). The problem is it it very difficult to find an arrangement where the heavy "brick" is not pulling on the connector end.

There are two problems with this. First, the strain relief on the connector is one of the primary failure points in power supplies and this magnifies that problem many-fold.

The second problem is more serious. A common (and expensive) failure point in laptops is the power supply receiver. put too much strain on it or put repeated amounts of minimal strain and it will eventually fail inside the laptop rendering it inoperable.

SUCH A RIP OFF!

I ordered this charger for my Toshiba Satellite laptop. In the picture it looks exactly like the one that was ruined. Buuuuut when I got it yesterday and opened it, it is a completely different charger than the one that is on the photo. The charger that I recieved has three prongs and the part you insert into the laptop is different. Further more it doesn't fit! I tried right now to see if I can return it but this product cannot be returned. So I now I have a perfectly useless charger I paid for and still have to find a new one for my laptop. This is very disappointing! DO NOT ORDER THIS CHARGER! save yourself the time and money!
