Portable and lightweight, but strong!

I bought this laptop stand after reading the other reviews, and liking the collapsible form factor. I was concerned that this would not accommodate my larger Dell Inspiron 17R, but it hasn't even been an issue. The stand works great without issue. Not only does it lift the back end to allow for better cooling, but this also raises the eye-level of the screen. It's also tilted to elevate the keyboard, which is great for typing. It folds down to palm-size, easy for storage or travel.

And at this deal of a price, I might just pick one up to use with my work laptop.

Highly recommend.

It works but slides around at times and gets on my nerves

I like that it is simple and can be folded up into a small thing but it doesn't stay as well as I'd like it to. I spend a lot of time readjusting it to be in the center under my laptop. Everytime my computer slides to one side, it gets all lopsided looking and I have to straighten it back, but the arms of the stand move all around while I adjust it and usually a few cuss words come out as I try to fix one leg while another one moves. I eventually get it right though and all is well. :)

This stands holds my 15" laptop securely off the desktop for efficient cooling. Collapses down very easily for travel. At a few $$ less than another brand sold on Amazon, this item seems to be built exactly the same, and will hopefully perform as well over time.

This product is nearly perfect. It tilts the laptop at nearly the perfect angle for more comfortable typing.

This stand is pretty pricy compared to other stands, and for what it is, but it folds up tiny (not that I'll ever remove it from my desk) and is very solid.

The one thing that annoys me - I have a macbook, is that the nubs in the front that keep the laptop in place are about 1/8" taller than my macbook. they annoy me when typing. I may try to cut them down, but that'd leave a sharp corner, which may be worse than what it is now. Perhaps I could round them by sanding... It's not awful, and doesn't bug me all the time. It's not enough to stop me from using the stand.

Edit: One more thing that would be nice (that it doesn't do) would be if the stand could click/lock into the open position so it doesn't move around while moving it around the desk, etc.

Stows perfect, improves typing & airflow

I needed a cheap, easy-to-travel way of increasing the airflow of my laptop, and this has been the ticket. Added bonus is that the raised angle of the stand really has improved my comfort while typing. The best feature, though, is the adjustable length. I can use this stand with the enormous boat anchor I have to use at work, as well as the slimmer profile of my personal laptop. Great alternative to full-on, more expensive laptop cooling systems.

With this ergonomic aluminium portable cooling, I got a better experience while using my macbook on my desk . And also it is cooled properly without any noise. It hasn't got any fan, but leaves three fingers between the macbook and the desk so it doesn't overheat and gets working properly. Very recommended to people like me who needs the most silence possible and also like having a comfortable position to use the keyboard.

Clever Design

This is a clever design that works well for my laptop. The stand is easy to use, and very light. Yet it holds the laptop firmly on the table. It slants the keyboard upward to make typing easier on the wrists. It enables the cooling fan to work without obstruction. My only wish is that the back legs of the stand were an inch taller, to give more elevation-- say three inches. I don't carry my laptop around much, but if I did this stand would fit easily into a carry-case.
