Form-fitting but quite thin.

I recently bought a 2015 edition Dell XPS 13 laptop (the first kind with an "infinity display"). This Birugear sleeve fits it absolutely perfectly. There is at most a half centimeter of extra space vertically, and no extra space horizontally. It fits the laptop perfectly without stretching. So as far as fit is concerned, it is perfect. That's very nice, because this size of laptop is right in between most laptop sleeve sizes.

And for those of you wondering, the exact dimensions of my laptop are: 11.98"W x 7.88"H x 0.60"D.

The exact external dimensions of the sleeve are: 13.125"W x 9.0"H x 0.5"D.

The internal dimensions of the sleeve are roughly the same as the laptop, with maybe a half centimeter more in the "H" axis.

It also provides a nice front pouch to put your power adapter, mouse, and external Dell battery in. I've done this. It works. The material does stretch a lot to allow you to fit whatever you want in there, within reason. And for your information, it won't stretch in the "W" or "H" axis, just the "D" axis.

Build quality is pretty good. The zippers work fine. Stitch-work looks good. (I can't see any light coming through when I open it up and stare into it.)

It comes with a wrist strap attached to a small loop of ribbon woven into the seam. I would never use it. as it appears that the metal carabiners and clasps are so weak that I would worry about it snapping. My advice would be to just remove it and throw it away. Or replace it with a decent carabiner.

The biggest down-side of this product is the thinness of the neoprene material. I bought it under the impression that it was going to provide more cushioning than it actually does.Read more ›

Carry Case

This is a soft sided Cary case and it has a foam insert to protect the screen, I use it at home to store unit when not in use. The case has no handle but it is useful for my needs.

Best under $15 Chromebook case option out there

I got this for my wife. She loved the hot pink of course.

It fits a like-sized Chomebook snuggly. Protection appears to be adequate against accidental bangs. Edges are extra padded so it would probably survive a drop to the floor. Wasn't about to test that out though.

Other nice features include the velcro handles, double zipper and zipped side pocket.

I opted for this over like competitors because of the very affordable cost and the side pocket zips. Most other like-priced options do not or don't have handles.

The side pocket is nice for the power cord and a flash drive but it is a snug fit. Very snug. Taking one star off for that. It would have been nice to have just a fraction more play in there.

Good sleeve with one major design flaw

This is a decent sleeve, it fits the xps 13 (9343) well, and it has a nice size accessories pocket. The zipper covers two sides of it, so one should be able to load it both vertically and horizontally, depending on current needs (this is the reason I ordered it). Sounds great, but it doesn't work, because the zipper is not double sided. They went to all the trouble to produce a sleeve with zipper that goes around three of its corners, but then they made this feature utterly pointless by not allowing you to actually open the zipper on the side of your choice. Disappointing.

A sleeve as advertised

It includes an accessory pouch in the front that can carry the power cable, as well as any other smaller accessories (earbuds, phone charger, usb cable, etc). It fits in somewhat snuggly, but it never feels like I have to force it in. All that being said, as the description says, it is a sleeve so don't expect it to protect your computer from large drops, other than cosmetically, it is not supposed to be a shock absorber. I use mine in conjunction with a messenger bag, it's great because it doesn't add much bulk.

Laptop fits well inside and doesn't slide around during transport. The side pouch is also very nice. Large enough for some paper, pens and pencils. Probably not large enough to carry a travel mouse inside (unless it were very small). Overall, this is a good buy. Would recommend

Horrible Quality

I figured this was fluke, i bought a new one and the main case zipper fell off in less than two weeks. Zippers are pretty integral to cases and bags and will get used quite a bit.
