Cool and Long Last Power

It replaces my regular original HP battery. This extended battery lasts at least twice longer than my original one even with video and graphic concentrated applications. Another good thing is the battery stickout from bottom elevate the laptop and let the air flow and cool the laptop. It's very good deal with the cooling design and long last power. LOVE IT

g60 battery

I ordered the 9600 mah battery pack for my HP G60. Got the battery 3 days after ordering. Followed the instructions to recharge overnight with computer off, then drain it down as low as you can, repeat those steps 3 times. By the 3rd time the battery life went from about 5 hours of normal useage to just about 6 hours. I think the stock 4200 mah battery pack was about 2 hours but it dipped to about 30 minutes on its way out.No idea on longevity, but for $72 shipped, I'll get my money out of it. For people having trouble "snapping" the battery in, just push the battery in and leave the slide release alone, it is a self latching mechanism and tryin to pull the slide mechanism while installing the battery will simply prevent it from latching.

Extended Capacity battery

I've used this battery for 6 months and I have been happy with the product. When the battery was new it was somewhat difficult to get the battery to 'click in' the locked position. I snapped it in a little harder than I would think was normal and it locked in place. I only had this issue the first time I installed the battery.
The battery performs as expected and I have been pleased with the increased time that I can use my laptop before charging is required. I have an HP G60. The battery has performed and charged flawlessly for the past six months.

works great for HP G70

I put this in a clients HP G70 and it works fine. It does stick out the bottom, lifting the computer up maybe .75". It does thus increase airflow to fan. The client reports that this does not interfere with typing (it might help).

The Battery comes with conditioning instructions. As per, I charged the battery overnight with the laptop off. The next day I discharged it entirely by use, then plugged it in & charged it while using it; I discharged & recharged it this way 2x more. I had NO problem with the laptop saying the capacity was lower than it was, nor with it charging incompletely, as is reported possible.

I recommend this product.

UPDATE 04/03/2013
In using this laptop with this battery, I have caught the battery in such a way that it became disconnected long enough to shut down the system. This could be potentially catastrophic, for lost work... I personally would not be comfortable with that risk, but that is a personal preference, not a technical deficiency. The client who owns this system & battery has absolutely no complaints!

I ordered this product as a replacement my HP DV4, as the labtop battery died relatively quickly. Unfortunately, I soon learned that the battery did not fit my computer, despite the fact that is advertised as an extended capacity battery for the HP DV4. I am very disappointed in the product and the seller.

I bought the battery in September 2013, and it worked great till December. I was extremely careful on charging it according to the instructions provided, but it died OVERNIGHT at the beginning of January. The battery will NOT take a charge and my computer dies instantly when unplugged. I have tried to contact the seller or Amazon, but I cannot find a way. Every time I try to contact anybody, the site kicks me back to my order summary page! I just want to find out how to do an exchange or something! This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I am really surprised and disappointed with Amazon and this seller.

When I received this product I was hoping I would be able to extend my laptop battery life, I followed the instructions regarding letting the battery completing discharge then re-charge 2-3 times. After doing this the product was no better than my original battery of 6 years old. The battery life was horrible. The battery life did not extend to anything close to the times stated by the battery's description or by other users.

Luckily, I was able to get a credit of $24 back from the vendor. This was the result of a complaint I made to them regarding excessive costs at the USPS to send the product back to CA from MO.
