Assembly Experience

I opened the box and found that everything was packed with solid Styrofoam. All of the pieces were labeled. They even went so far as to place an underscore under the 6 so that it wouldn't be confused with a 9. The screws, nuts (self-locking) and tools are shrink-wrapped to card stock, very nice. All of the other pieces are in plastic bags.

All of the pieces appear to be of good quality. The base cross legs are two small legs welded to a single long leg. The welds appear to be well done. All of the metal pieces are good square stock and the base pieces also appear to be good stock. The four casters are plastic but appear to be durable, and two of them lock. The two tops are solid, well-made and not warped.

The instructions were easy to follow and assembly went smoothly, except I made one mistake explained below.

Usage Experience

The table is very stable. It slides easily and the laptop side tilts just as easily. I'm using it now and only have a few minor observations and suggestions for improvement, see below. The laptop table tilts in both directions, so it accommodates right-handed and left-handed users.

Assembly Tips

1. When attaching the vertical post to the cross legs, make sure the holes in the post face the short segment of the long leg. Amazon and the instruction sheet picture show this correctly, but the instruction text doesn't mention it in the text. This bit me and I assembled it incorrectly and had to redo it. The important point is that the laptop table must be over the long segment of the base leg.

I bought this table to wheel around my laptop and to hook the laptop to the tv. The table is fairly sturdy and I have no problems with that. The metal legs looked a little scratched up, but other than that the table was in good condition. A bit of advice. When you are screwing the table top to the brackets, make sure you don't tighten the screws down all the way until you get all the screws started. If you tightened down one screw the opposite screw might not line up to the hole. Other than that I haven't had any issues with this table.

Awesome desk.

I have a back problem due to my tension and anxiety so I can't sit for too long. This desk is my back saver. Immediately, my back is not as painful. This desk is well built. It's half the price compare to Office Depot and Office Max. I love it!! I can tilt it and sit on my recliner. Also, here is my experience with this company: I have never dealt with any company that is as pleasant as this one. I anxiously waited for my desk, but it arrived with a piece on the top broken. I contacted the company and send a picture to them. They pleasantly handled it. To my astonishment it only took 2 days for me to receive a WHOLE NEW DESK!! This is beyond my expectation because I thought that I'll get a replacement piece only. But instead they sent me another desk... I can't ask for more. I am so happy with the whole experience and so glad that I didn't go to a brick and mortar store to buy it.

Better than expected

There are a plethora of Laptop carts out there. The ones I had seen were usually pretty rickety and wobbly, so I simply expected this one to be that way as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is pretty sturdy. It was also quite easy to assemble.

I needed a compact yet sturdy cart for my laptop and this one works perfectly. Easy to assemble, well designed with adjustable table angle and wheels make it easy to move to one side when you get up from your chair; and nice accompanying flat surface. Looked around and saw others that were nearly identical but more $$. This one was the best value of the ones I saw.

You see how one leg is longer than the others? And the way the tabletop is oriented in relation to it? If you're worried about it sliding under a sofa, not a bed, listen up: The table requires assembly. Just assemble the two base cross-legs as instructed, without the wheels. Then assemble the table tops as instructed. When it tells you to install the lower vertical piece, just make sure that you have the holes on the side that you want them on. Sounds silly- you'll see. It all makes sense after 3 Martinis. It's a paper laminate, so don't count on leaving drinks on its surface, but the adjustable part is quite nice. The table adjusts to great angles, and the stationary (flat) table easily holds my ashtray and my infant. I'm kidding. It's just holding a watermelon, because I have no children.

I purchased this with the intention of using it as a way to stand and use my laptop. Well, dummy me, I didn't realize that it does not adjust to a height that is suitable for that. However, I still like this product, because it is sturdy, fairly easy to move, and it makes a great work table/tray for bedside.

Decent laptop stand

The first one i received arrived damaged. One of the top wood piece was completely broken in half with the flimsy "wood" finish ripped. The company promptly sent out a replacement. That one arrived in much better condition. I am happy with it. I used to use my laptop on the coffee table and was constantly dealing with people/dogs knocking over drinks and things spilling, so i wanted a solution that allowed my laptop to be a safe distance from all that and also something stable enough that dogs/people couldn't knock over. So far so good. While it's not the highest quality, it does serve it's purpose. The height is perfect for using while sitting on a couch. It doesn't exactly look like a fine piece of furniture, but it does look decent and matches the other furniture in the room.
