Very responsive and great size!

I have a Microsoft Surface and have the keyboard that attaches to it but sometimes I want to sit back from the screen some and sometimes I really just want a full size keyboard. I was intrigued by this silicone keyboard because it rolls up which means it would easily fit in the pocket of my laptop bag. This keyboard was nothing like I imagined.

First this keyboard really is a full size keyboard, well at least the same size as my 15.6 inch laptop keyboard, which is what I type on all the time. I have a few USB/Bluetooth keyboards but they are all pretty small and I have trouble typing on them. This one, though, is just like my laptop. It has a number keypad and lights to show you when the Num lock and caps lock are on. What surprised me the most is how responsive this keyboard is. When you feel/see the keyboard, you will assume that you are going to need to press pretty hard on the keys but you don’t. I don’t have to press any harder on these keys than I do on my laptop. I can type just as fast on this keyboard as I can my laptop keyboard which is totally different than on the smaller keyboards. I had my husband use this some and he said the same thing. He was surprised how responsive the keys were and how easy it was to use. When I sit at the table and work, my laptop keyboard is just a little too high. This is nice because it sits flat on the table and is lower than my computer. This keyboard stores so easily by rolling it up and it doesn’t take up much space.

This product is wonderful! I needed a folding keyboard with a number ...

This product is wonderful! I needed a folding keyboard with a number pad on it, so this seemed to fit the bill. Using the number pad is much better than I thought it would be. For a silicon keyboard, it has good positive engagement on the keys, they are not sticky or hard to use. I do not have to press hard to engage any key.
And it’s extremely portable. I roll it up, stick it in my backpack, and off I go. It's perfect for taking notes in class as it is extremely quiet.
So, if you are looking for a flexible full keyboard, I highly recommend this! Great buy.

Perfect extra keyboard - soft keys are very comfortable and full sized key layout makes it easy to type at normal speed!!

I've been having trouble lately with the keyboard on my MacBook Pro laptop, so it was perfect timing for me to try out this flexible silicone USB keyboard from Karnotech. This keyboard is extremely easy to start using - I simply plugged in the USB cord (which is a nice length) to my laptop and the computer immediately sensed a new keyboard input device. The Mac wizard required me to just press a few specific keys so it could identify the keyboard layout, then I was all set to go. In fact, I'm using the Karnotech keyboard right now to write this review! I love the soft feel of the silicone keys. They are really easy to press, which is great given that I deal every day with joint issues in my hands and arms. The molded silicone is all one piece, so there are no gaps under the keys for dust and dirt to get trapped, like on my computer (I believe that trapped cat fur is a big part of the issues with my laptop). I also like that this is a full sized keyboard - I've tried some other portable keyboards that are "mini" sized, and those are a bit hard to type quickly and accurately on, but with this keyboard, it feels totally natural and I can type as quickly as I would directly on my laptop. It even has a full sized number pad to the right of the standard letter keys and has a full array of function keys. I should note for other Mac users that the key with the Windows logo acts as the command button when this keyboard is used on a Mac. It's also really cool that the flexible silicone can be rolled up to place in my laptop case or otherwise pack for traveling.

I'm very glad that I was able to order this as a free promotional sample in order to evaluate and provide my honest review.

Portable and responsive!

I have an old laptop that I use when I travel between offices. While most of the time I prefer using my iPad, every once in a while I just need a bigger screen or software programs that I do not have available on my iPad. One of the reason I do not use my laptop a lot is because the keyboard sticks. I can use the traction pad just fine, but the keyboard is annoying. As such I pack a keyboard to take with me when I need to use my laptop. This makes my laptop bag heavy and yet another reason why I seldom take it with me.

When I received this keyboard I was amazed at how lightweight and portable this keyboard is. A great solution to my laptop problem! I was a little nervous that I would not be able to type on it as efficiently, but was pleasantly surprised. I am in fact typing this review using the keyboard and have absolutely no issues with any of the keys. They are responsive and do not require double pressing.

I love how I can roll it up and store it in a small pocket in my laptop bag. It adds no weight to my bag, and yet allows me the convenience of typing on a real keyboard on-the-go.

Great keyboard!
