I bought this RAM to upgrade a Dell n5110 that was originally equipped with Samsung pc10600 (4gb x 1) RAM. From their reputation I was not worried about compatibility or quality so when I ran Memtest overnight (about 16 passes) it reported 0 errors on either one--which wasn't surprising.. Having used the laptop now for over 5 months, with little Memory usage even when running multiple, resource using, programs, I can still say the RAM has worked flawlessly.

I will say that if your computer came with DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500), you still might be able to upgrade to this even though it is 1333 (have to check your laptop's tech specs to see if your motherboard supports it). Also, when comparing RAMs at 1333 speed, you may notice 3 different types of PC3 numbers such as: PC3 10600 (this particular product), PC3 10660, and PC3 10666. What is the difference? Nothing. They are all 1333 speed, and should not affect compatibility with your computer.

If you are wanting to upgrade your laptop the choice for reliability and quality could not be simpler.

I bought this ram a week ago, and it works great. Initially, I wasn't sure if it was compatible for my 15' Macbook Pro 2011, but it was. Now my computer feels faster, but it seems that I use more memory for things like Firefox, or Steam. Nonetheless, this RAM was a steal at $40.

This has definitely improved the speed of my laptop all around. Now I can actually have Skype open all the time and do other things without my PC slowing down.

I bought this for my daughter's laptop, a Toshiba T135-S1310. That particular model states it cannot exceed 6GB, but after finding other non-Toshiba sites that indicate it can handle 8GB, I took the gamble, and it's been great.

Memory modules are an easy upgrade, even in most laptops. However, if your laptop is older than Windows 7, I do recommend you make sure your laptop's BIOS is updated before you begin: many laptop manufacturers provided updated BIOS images for their hardware specifically to fix memory addressing issues. In the case of my Toshiba, I'm guessing the last BIOS update cracked the 6GB ceiling and allowed these SO-DIMMMs to work like a champ.

We've had it in her machine for about a month now and she's really enjoying the extra room--things do run better in Windows 7 when it has more memory to work with.

I'm an IT person, specializing in residential and small commercial and SOHO. When it comes to memory, and different compatibilities, I only buy G Skill. I have never had a problem with any DDR3 G Skill memory, no matter what the speed. Can't say the same for other brands- have had times when the laptop or computer refused to post. Replaced the offending RAM with G Skill, and voila, problem solved. NEVER had a problem with G Skill- its compatibility with most MOBO's is uncanny. Needless to say, it fit perfectly, works perfectly and I would definitely buy not only this product again, but any G Skill memory.

THANK GOD! I ordered 4 GB back in 2009 and wanted, down the road, to get 8GB but never did (Apple charges so much for upgrades!). After searching for the best brand, I stumbled upon and finalized my decision to buy G.Skill, even though I've never heard of them.

Glad I bought this over the Kingston, because this baby fits my 2009 Macbook pro with a 3.06 ghz processor. FINALLY can video edit without much trouble from the fans going crazy.

Thank you, G.Skill. Great product! HIGHLY Recommended!!!

worked perfect in my HP g60 laptop.
Replace the old RAM which was a 1Gb stick and a 2Gb stick for 3Gb total. the 1Gb stick was samsung, and the 2Gb stick was Kingston (It came from the factory this way). I did notice a increase in overall performance. Nothing mind blowing, but noticeable in certain apps (games *__* )

windows performance index increased from 5.5 to 7.0 .. and the CPU even bumped up a 10th from 3.9 to a 4.0 (? not 100% sure why, but kinda makes sense).

This is the third time I've purchased G.Skill memory in the last two years, and every time the product has been reliable straight out of the box, and exactly what I wanted.

This memory works very well, went straight in an Acer Aspire AS5560 and has been running without issue for several weeks. Managed a higher WEI than the 4GB of memory it replaced, no complaints about performance and I'd expect these modules to easily last for the life of the computer.
