Easy to install laptop hard drive

Our old hard drive in the laptop died and I found this as a good option for storage capacity, price and durability.

Installing is easy for my laptop. Just a few screws, pull a cover, a couple more screws, pull out the old, push in the new and do the reverse for the screws and cover.

I will come back in a few months to let you know how it goes as far as my experience with the durability.

My son wanted this to upgrade his PS3 to do add some expansions to his Destiny game. It worked perfectly and was easy to install. Much cheaper than the game stores. I would recommend checking your system design. When it arrived, we realized we needed a bracket to mount it for his particular system (apparently some PS3s are built differently than others), but the bracket was only a few dollars.

Awesome for older laptops!

I ordered two of these because of the low price. With a 2 year extended warranty for only a couple of dollars more, I felt I'd be OK. After being advertised as "generic, I was surprised to receive two name brand drives. I'm sure these are closeout lot purchases, but so far, so good.

Before loading the OS, I ran extensive diagnostics & both drives passed with flying colors. Both went into older laptops in which the drives were failing. Again, I was amazed at the increased performance in both machines.

I highly recommend this product to anyone in a similar situation. 320 GB is a decent sized drive for a standard user and these arrived in sealed manufacturer bags. The owner of the newer laptop does play strategy games and has a higher performance machine but, so far, the drive has performed admirably.

I'm going to order a couple more of these just to have on hand because the price just cannot be
beate!
