Not what you think.

A few of these adapters are completely useless, (5.5mmX2.1mm TO 5.5mmX2.1mm). I am really confused as to why anyone would want to stick on a tip that gives you exactly what you already had, and there isn't just one, not even two, but THREE of them! I assumed incorrectly when I ordered these that the 5.5X2.1 adapters had to be reverse polarity tips (which could have been very useful and logical to have in this kit), after testing them I found they are all straight through.

There is no documentation that comes with these, there are random alphabetical letters stamped into the plastic housing on the side that often repeat, these letters have no rhyme or reason so they can be ignored. My feeling is that some factory in China was contracted to make these and made a mistake and now are sold to us at a discount to recoup their losses cause those 5.5mmX2.1mm were definitely originally intended to be reverse polarity by whoever decided to develop this kit.

All that being said I have tested about half of them and they all seem to work. There is great variety (better than any other kit I have seen, though not all are unique) I like the holders and, I don't regret the purchase.

No quality control, as I received 28 adapters, but not all pictured. The adapters are unmarked, and I agree that a few are unnecessary (5.5mm x 2.1mm female to 5.5mm x 2.1mm male, which "adapts" nothing if you think about it). It's also important to note that the set does include tips for current Dell and Lenovo laptops/tablets (which are 19 to 20VDC power), but doesn't have the center pin wired to identify it as being valid from that vendor (which of course it is not).

I'm moderately satisfied with what I received, but the product could be improved...
