I wasn't sure what to expect. I had just ruined a netbook, when my dog spilled my coffee cup on to it. Even though the lid was closed, it fried it. I love this keyboard cover. As I was looking, I realized size matters. I needed one that covered a keyboard with a 10 key pad as well as keyboard. Was still worried that, even though the picture showed it was big enough, it would be really short. Well it fits perfect! It is easy to type with it. You can see the keys really well. I have not washed it yet, but don't expect that to be a problem.

The best thing to do is to find a cover that is made for your laptop's model. I could not find fitted cover for mine and had no other choice but to buy universal one. This cover does what is was made for - protects the keyboard from dust and spills...BUT it is difficult to see through it, especially when there is no much light in the room. On the bright side, it is better than nothing. Good as temporary solution.

Does not fit 17.3 inch laptop

Does not fit well at all! It is a pain to put on. I have a toshiba 17.3 inch laptop and its a 10 key but this product doesn't fit very well. And its pointless to return because it cost 8.00 just to return the item!!!!!! And it's not very clear at all either.

It claims to be for notebooks up to 17.3 in. It is TINY. It's a little bit over 12 in x 5 1/4. It doesn't fit the keyboard of a 15.6 in laptop... you would have to leave the numbers keypad out of it and even that wouldn't work. It also took forever to get here. Total waste of time and money.
