Although initially I was booked on the results that were to come given that my laptop heats up only on the left side when I got home and set up my HAVIT I noticed that it is extremely quiet and very efficient.

It’s extremely effective in evacuating the heat mostly because has 6 powerful fans which is absorbing the heating really fast, strong air flow, which allows the fans to pull more air for better cooling and has a very nice design. Also it’s very important that the producer used only good metal materials.

The fans are positioned optimally to pull out the hot air from the source. The design is simple, but what is important is that has gripped pads to prevent slipping. I like that is having support legs for increased stability.

It actually seemed to work okay for the first week, though for six fans it didn't really seem to be moving a lot of air. About 2 weeks after I started using it, I started having overheating issues, and the air movement was all but nil. I blew out the fans with canned air, even though it's not really been used enough to be dirty, but it didn't help. I mean, it's pretty and all, but it's just not working right. I may have just been sent a defective one, since it seemed to get good reviews otherwise. Will return and go back to my old standby.

While the blue lights are cool, this does not really work out well. I use a 13 inch macbook pro and it heats up to the point of burning if I touch near where the fans are. I tried this laptop cooler in a well ventilated room on a wooden desk, but it had little to no effect on my macbook. In fact, the laptop cooler heats up where the macbook touches it. It is not entirely useless if I use it only to cool the macbook down fast once all the windows are closed. There are also two neat things on the back to help you angle the laptop cooler, but since there are nothing to hold your laptop onto the cooler, they could slip off and get scratched on the bottom.

Short version: Has little to no difference on laptop temperature.

Kind of sucks but even so

It's got a neat design and fans are very quiet. It's definitely cooled my laptop down a lot. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because I expected too much from it. I thought this cooler-fan would keep my own internal laptop fan (which is very loud) from turning on. My laptop fan still turns on when I'm just streaming a video. Kind of sucks but even so, there is a big difference in the temperature of my laptop so I would recommend this product!
