Super Cooling!

At first, I was hesitant about buying this but now I know why this cooling pad was a good buy!

Pros:

+Nice design and good quality
+Blue LED Lights
+Super Cool Quiet Dual Fans
+Slim and Sleek
+Lightweight

[+]Overall the body and the design of the cooling pad looks and feels solid. It works great! I never checked the temps but it feels cooler now. The airflow seems to be mostly hitting the center/middle of laptop and the lower/front end of the laptop(towards the user) it also hits the side areas and the back side too but not as strong. Plus, the fan isn't really noisy. It's pretty quiet if you'd ask me.

Neutral:

+/-Seems like the pad usb is 2.0 instead of 3.0 and that it has only 1 usb port so technically your not getting extra usbs just the single one that replaces the one you plugged in for the cooling pad.

[+/-]I don't really care if it's not usb 3.0 and that it's only 1 extra port your getting which replaces the one it takes it which is fine for me.

Cons:
-Size seems small for a 15.6 inch. It barely fits my Asus 15.6 inch laptop because it barely reaches the rubber feets. Probably better if you have a 14 inch or small notebook.
-No front grippers or hook things to protect your laptop from falling down.

[-]My main concern is that this thing has no front grippers or stoppers. My laptop is already bigger than this thing and the front surface of this cooling pad is very smooth and slick so I'm very afraid that it's going to make my laptop fall soon. I had to use tape to hold it more securely. You could either use tape, velcro, or even glue if you think it's gonna make your laptop fall because believe me it doesn't look secure without any of them.Read more ›

Good but not great

I ordered three different cooling pads to try out. This one is very slim and light weight. The two fans do a good job. Only reason I went with the Cooler Master NotePal ErgoStand Lite - Height Adjustable Laptop Cooling Stand with Adjustable Fan was that the laptop slides all over the place. Needs some sort of tabs or rubber strips and this would be great.

Amazing cooling fan that lights up looks cool in my dark room and keeps my lab-top from overheating. Currently I have it running 100% of the time when my computer is on and it makes a huge difference the twin fans really do draw out the air and help circulation. I do recommend this if you have a computer that tends to get a little hot wen on for to long.

This cooling fan does the trick on our Laptop that always runs hot. I like the design and the fact it has two sets of fan blades to tackle the job.

I want to be straight up and tell you that the first fan I received had a factory defect and this company had the best customer service rep, Nicole, that I have ever dealt with. She took care of my problem and sent a new fan pronto but she didn't stop there. She even emailed me to see if it had been received and was it working properly. Nicole went above and beyond her call of duty and I appreciate her help.

I highly recommend this fan and I am very pleased with the expediency Aworldnet - Amazon Marketplace afforded me. I will purchase from them again.

Very flimsy; looks cool (no pun intended) and great size (very slim) to throw in a backpack or brief case, but can't hold a 15" laptop; fans make noise and legs often buckle.

Great for a small laptop

Has probably prevented my laptop from setting on fire at this point. It's really lightweight and works really well. It's fan is really quiet too. I have an 11 inch asus though. If you have anything bigger than that you should consider getting a bigger one if you want it to fit on top of it. 13 inches top.

Three cooling pads - Comparison review

I am an engineer so I have a lot of computers. A number of them are tucked away in small places to keep them out of the way (I connect to them from my main computer using remote desktop). However keeping them tucked away makes them run rather warm due to lack of air circulation. I decided to install cooling pads to improve air circulation.

It is best when computer CPU core temperature is under 50°C, if it is in the range of 50°C it is a sign of not sufficient cooling, if it is the in 60°C or higher it shortens the life expectancy of the computer components. The cooling pad should be blowing towards the device you are trying to cool. How well it cools depends not only on the cooling pad but on how many ventilation holes each device has on the bottom.

I have a little netbook which servers as my backup hub, it core temperature was 65°C. My old laptop which I use to VPN to work had core temperature of 58°C. After I put a cooling pad under each computer the core temperature dropped from 58°C to 54°C on one, and from 65°C to 62°C on another.

I auditioned three HAVIT cooling pads for the job, and here is the comparison between the three pads:
