I have used this "HP X360 - 13.3-Inch Laptop" for over 2 weeks. I chose not to quickly review it before I throughly tested it and especially wanted to see the recent Windows 10 upgrade. This HP was shipped with Windows 8 and with the promise of quickly receiving Windows 10 as soon as it was released. I received Windows 10 a few days ago and immediately installed it on this HP. The upgrade came out earlier than expected. I also have 2 other Windows 8 laptops and just received their Windows 10 update last night. This HP runs Windows 10 perfectly.

I like the lightweight and quality of this HP. It is slim and only 0.85 inches thick and weighing about 3.5 lbs. It highly resembles a MacBook Air at first sight, however there some differences between the Mac and the HP. It's smaller and lighter than the MacBook Pro and only slightly larger than the MacBook Air. I compared it with both MacBooks and found that the size and weight of this HP is expected to be in the middle of the Pro and Air.

While both the HP and Apple MacBook have the same size, weight and even the same Metallic Silver color, the HP is made of a Poly Carbonate surface. It's still highly impressive with a Silver finish.

I would have preferred an all aluminum body. I suppose it would have raised the price a few cents but I definitely think it should be built from lightweight aircraft aluminum instead of colored plastic. Another thing that I question - HP seems to be using the same troublesome Hinges. For a Hybrid Laptop /Tablet why not use a different type of hinge system? The only other HP that I owned was a 17" laptop and the hinges lasted about a year. I'm just cautious and careful when I move the screen on this new HP.

I am not sure about the sealed battery cells.

Just got my new laptop today and so far it's pretty good. Touch screen is responsive and is fast. Only things I dislike about this are the glare and the power cord jack. The glare isn't a really big deal to me because my previous laptop had it so it's not a deal breaker. The power cord jack is much smaller nowadays and looks more like a headphone jack so when you sit with the laptop on your lap while charging I feel like it might get damaged from movement over time. Other than that another solid HP device.

Overall this Product is Great. Great in look and Feel, Very good in processing power (its has i3 Process with 2.10 Ghz clock speed, where as fastest in the market is i7), Great in handling. Bit heavier but OK. Batter life is very long more than 5 hours with a normal use.

It has in built Intel WiDi but No miracast though. So with any TV which supports Intel WiDi (I have LG LA8600) will work well. By using this feature you eliminate (in most of the uses patterns and use case) the need HDMI cable to connect to TV. You can directly connect with the compatible TV wireless with the help of pre-installed Intel s/w. It works really great and very very handy. What am I saying, you will only know and feel the difference of this wireless way of connection, when you use yourself.

With this processing speed, you can also use Video Editing tool quite easily and the final encoding is also faster for a 30 min HD video.

The one thing which I think is they should have given a 7200 RPM hard disk instead of existing 5400 RPM disk. This would have increased the response of this laptop to a reasonable and acceptable performance limit while performing hard-disk intensive work like Copy pasting GBs long file, multiple s/w writing to the disk as the same time, etc.

My laptop came with an scratch on the back body built near the HP logo, it is supposed that the device is new, but it seemed that it was used before. The trackpad makes this awful noise everytime I want to click to an app or something in the Desktop or wherever, it seems that it was not right assembled. At nights I didn't see the back lit light on the keyboard. Also when I turn into tent or tablet mode it also seems that my device is a poorly assembled and the cheapest device on the market because it doesn't do that 360° movement with any easyness and also makes the same noise as the trackpad. regarding the packaging this was bad, it just came with a big sheet to wrap the HP box. I expected more of this device and I hope the HP team could tell me something about the scratch on the back.

Great little laptop, upgraded the memory from 4GB to 16GB (two 8GB). It came with one 4GB memory stick. It has 2 memory slots.
Replaced the 500GB 5400rpm drive with 256GB SSD drive and finally reformat and reinstalled Windows 8.1.
It runs very fast!

I have always had HP laptops and used them for school and personal use. I wanted a 2-in-1 and looking through many I went with HP because I never seemed to have issues, until this one. It would not connect to any wi-fi network, and if it did find a network, it would have such a weak signal that it wouldn't end up connecting. It's a great laptop, from what I did get to do.

Touch works about 95% of the time, sometimes you need to use the mouse. Screen is good size, but it seems a little heavy as a tablet.
