Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
As the saying goes: "Jack of all trades, master of none"

I have received this convertible laptop about one week ago and I have been using it everyday since to be able to review it.
it is my first AMD computer since many years so I have hard time relating to its real potential which may be bigger than I would give it credit for.
It is a nice laptop/tablet and I am writing this review on it. But if it does a lot, it does not do anything perfectly. I find the touch-pad to be a bit lagging. Although it has a quad-core @2.0GHz (and not 2.4GHz as stated in the description sheet) and a video card with 2GB of RAM, the small 4GB of RAM won't allow it to run real games like my real PC does... It is a bit heavy for a tablet at near 4 Lbs.
The installation was very easy but I am spending quite a lot of time removing all the bloatware. It seems to be performing well as a normal laptop with a touchscreen... For tablet use, I find the viewing angles really poor... Interestingly, once completely folded and flat on my desk, the viewing angle is better than if I try to get it facing me...

What I do like:
- It has a full keyboard and an on screen keyboard that works well.
- It is reasonably light (yet not enough for a real tablet)
- It has a reasonable battery life. Actually much better than I am accustomed to with my standard laptops from a few years ago.
- It is competitive price wise.
- You can use it as a normal laptop or as a tablet.
- It boots up as it is in about 40 seconds. I find that pretty impressive for a non SSD drive. It makes quick accesses to internet fairly easy to do so I tend to go straight to it every time I want to verify something on the net or check my emails.

Verified Purchase
This review is after about a week of use, of course edits will be made to help consumers get a real extensive view of this product.

With that out of the way, let me go over some brief details before going in to specifics. I got this in the mail and I was extremely excited when I saw the sleek interior and exterior of this laptop. A nice light silver color on the exterior with a dark gray interior is a really cool design. This to me is nothing important, but to some it is and it looks amazing. This idea of convertible laptops is really cool and competitive, so I want to go into what I like and don't like about this.

Pros
-Responsive touchscreen (extremely important considering the whole idea of this computer)
-Rotates 360 degrees for different modes of use
-Excellent keyboard (on screen touch keyboard also included as a pro)
-The specs are great for casual browsing and casual gaming
-Decent battery life
-PRICE (other convertibles run from $200+ more than this one)

Cons
-Tablet mode isn't as good as other convertibles (keyboard isn't covered in tablet mode which poses a threat to damage/dust to the keyboard if not careful)
-Bloatware (I spent my first hour of use getting rid of a ton of stupid bloatware; This can also slow down your machine so I advise getting rid of it)

Let me go over some of the average features that didn't quite strike me as pros or cons. The beats audio and AMD graphics are completely average in my opinion. I did not expect any better or worse, so if you aren't looking for top of the line then this is perfect. By no means are they bad.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
On the inaugural run, the system froze. The word "Hi" remained on-screen for about five-minutes. I called customer service. They suggested holding-in the power-button and then pulling-out the battery to try restarting the process (this was our first impulse, but I also wanted to be certain that this "Hi" wasn't indicative of the system booting-up. Turns out, it wasn't. I can tell you, this did not make a great first impression.)

The second time, the computer did completely boot-up. I was a little surprised at the washed-out color. (However, I am also just coming from an LG ips display). Likewise, this sound was no different than any other laptop in this price range. We started with our iTunes favorites ... but when we agreed that there was a decide lack of depth and warmth to the sound, we moved on to audio tests. After performing several standard tests, we were in accord: the Beats Audio does seem to be something of a gimmick. The sound is as tinny as one would expect with a laptop. This convertible laptop has more volume then my last two laptops, but the sounds is no richer and no deeper.

I do have some concerns with overheating. At one point, it became so hot that I had to remove it from my lap and set it on its side on the hardwood floor. This is within he first two hours of using it ... and while it was under no stress. I will update this post if this becomes a genuine problem.

In addition, I was frustrated to find that this laptop was flooded with bloatware (much, much more than a Dell or Alienware). Now, I must invest time in removing each "useless" program. (I haven't bothered to do this yet since I already had a false start and then had to perform audio tests). I will surely get to it ...
