Laptop not recommended.

Recieved computer late Saturday, spent all day Sunday trying to get it to work, would shutdown and start up unexpectedly, loaded programs and files (Kaspersky and System Mechanic Premium) computer worked fine, the software worked fine, could access my files for 20 minutes, then computer shutdown and restarted in an “earlier version” erasing my programs and files. Software is new and meant for windows 7 & 8, reloaded everything again, computer started to work, windows updates started to run automatically, took more than an hour for it to finish.
Started computer this morning, wifi would not connect, pop up advised “camera and microphone no longer connected” my wifi modem showed the computer connected ,the computer still would not connect.
I restarted the computer to see if the wifi problem would be fixed, computer would not go past my login, just said it was connecting but never did.
Went to “safety mode” reset computer to original factory settings, after resetting turned it back on the screen was the original screen to register the computer.
Called Amazon, explained my problems, they emailed me a return authorization and UPS label for a refund. It’s on it’sway back……..
I have had computers for 20 years, Currently I have a 10 year old HP laptop windows XP, a 7 year old
HP laptop which had Vista, I installed windows 7, and an 8 year old HP desktop with windows 7
Always keep windows updated, Kaspersky and System Mechanic have been installed in these machines for years, never, ever a problem, no crashes, no shutdowns, the problems with the HP Envy really took me by surprise! I would not recommend the HP Envy windows 7 to anyone.

The Best Computer I've Ever Owned.

I love the speed, ease of use and the overall outlook. Everything matched as advertised on the amazon website. Especially the combination of i7 quad core at a fast clock speed of 2.6 ghz. This hardware allows you to run the most demanding games without slowing your computer. Hope this helps anyone on the hunt for a good laptop :)
