Overall, I am pretty happy with this laptop. I am typically a Mac user, but my Macbook is 6 years old, so I wanted something a bit more up to date. I bought this laptop for the purpose of playing WoW and for checking e-mail/submitting tasks to Blackboard while at school. Before I go into more detail, I want to respond the the review that says: "THIS PRODUCT IS POOR SOUND QUALITY". It's a cheap laptop, so you shouldn't expect a Bose sound system. That said, it does get pretty loud, and I was impressed with the volume it could reach. Not a musician's sound system, but perfectly fine for normal, every day video-watching, iTunes listening, or gaming.

As far as WoW capabilities are concerned...I play the game just fine with no lag ever unless I am in a bad area. The specs of this computer would make it obvious that playing games should be fine, but based on the price tag, I was a bit skeptical. That said, the graphics card doesn't give the best color accuracy, which is important to me as a photographer. If I want to edit photos, I have to break out my six year old laptop or hop onto my iMac, because I don't have the patience to calibrate this computer for editing purposes. Again, I wasn't expecting much based on the price, but I care enough to point out that all of the colors are going to be a bit lackluster, despite the graphics card being what it is.

Finally, the battery life leaves a bit to be desired, but it's not terrible. I'd say it lasts about three hours when not gaming. (If I'm gaming, I find that everything runs smoother when it's plugged in, so battery life isn't that big of a deal there.) Though it's not terrible, it's a pretty big difference between a three hour battery life and a six hour battery life (which is what I'm used to). Again, it's a cheap laptop. I wouldn't expect the quality of a $1000 laptop. I do, however, think it competes with a lot of laptops that cost $500 - $800, and I would definitely buy it again.

I'm very happy with my purchase. Great price for a laptop. No lag when playing MMOs. Plenty of space to download stuff. I was a bit apprehensive about Windows 8, but it's growing on me.

I LOVE this computer! It's my first laptop and it's perfect. It's speedy, can handle multiple open programs simultaneously, and is the perfect size. I could not have asked for a better experience with my first laptop.

I have been using this laptop for almost four months now and I am still very happy with it. For the price, this laptop is a bargain as it has everything you would want for daily tasks as well as a respectable performance level for gaming. The best feature for me is the AMD A8-Series processor. For the longest time, I have been using Intel processors and this purchase allowed me to try the A8-Series for myself and it is truly amazing. The processor is a lot more stable and allows for excellent multitasking by having many programs open at once. Also, the processor does not overheat too quickly even when gaming, and I run games like Diablo 3 on almost high specs.

Furthermore, the keyboard is extremely comfortable to use even when typing long papers or essays for an extended amount of time. This is especially pleasing as it allows me to write essays and reports for a longer period of time for my classes. The laptop also has a number pad on it which makes it a lot easier if you ever require the use of it. Next, the audio is actually quite decent despite reading previous reviews. On full volume, the sound is loud but it also has decent quality and does not crackle. Considering the price of the laptop, it is actually quite pleasing.

The small glitch of the laptop is the mouse-pad as it is not as responsive as you would want it to be. The mouse-pad can be a little irritating when you have a few programs open because if you scroll using the touch-pad, it may hang and show some lagging. But this is a small glitch that does not happen very often and if you are a gamer, you would probably want a wireless mouse anyway. All in all, this is probably my top five best investments I have made so far and I would not hesitate to get it again.

I don't usually get the time to write reviews, but whenever I start my laptop the amount of time it takes to boot up has eventually compelled me to write one.

The first couple of months the laptop worked perfectly fine. I basically decided to buy this laptop because it was within the reasonable price range and the configuration looked ok as well.

But now after 7/8 months I have no doubt admitting that this laptop is just not as fast and reliable as I thought it would be when I was buying it. Now it takes a long time to process whenever I open multiple applications, and also programs like MATLAB takes hours to load. Sometimes it boots up really fast, but sometimes it takes 3 - 4 minutes get up and running. Sadly whenever I'm using this laptop I feel that someday this thing is just going to stop working when I am doing something important.

My advice is that spend a bit more money, and you'll get good laptops than this one. You won't regret increasing your budget a bit more to get a better and more reliable laptop, believe me..

Best of luck.

I only use this product for school purposes and it has proven to be efficient, fast when going on the Internet, actually its speed overall is great. There are times when I have to have multiple tabs open for the Internet and multiple assignments open in Word, PowerPoint, and Excell and it never lags. It's great on power conservation as well.
