I purchased this laptop from Best Buy in August of 2014. I bought it for my final year at college. The laptop itself is very nice. The touch screen makes note-taking very easy and convenient. Unfortunately, the product is not of very good quality and since I have gotten it, I have had to send it in through HP repairs many times.

When I first got the computer in August, I noticed something wrong with the space bar. It would only work every few times I clicked it. Sothiswould makeall ofmysentences looklike this. This greatly reduced my normal typing speed of 86 words per minute so about 28 words per minute, so I called HP. They agreed to fix it since it was in warranty, but I wasn't going to have my computer for two weeks while they repair an issue on a brand new computer. So I did not have my computer for 2 weeks. This caused me to fall behind on school work and work (since I work with my computer) at the beginning of the semester. When I got it back, the space bar worked fine.

Several months after having the computer, I noticed that everywhere I was, the internet connection would drop in and out. Since I was able to fix it after trying to reconnect for several minutes, I just ignored the problem and kept doing my school work. Apparently, the problem kept getting worse and worse until eventually I couldn't connect to the internet at all, and the computer would not even register that there were any wifi connections available. On top of that, the computer wouldn't work with an ethernet cord. So again I called HP in March of 2015 and I had to do without my computer again for 2 weeks during my final semester of college.

I get the computer back 2 weeks later. It works fine for about a day. Then it is not connecting to the internet AGAIN!

The keyboard is not working proper. First, the Caps Lock is switching on and off randomly and the touch pad does not working proper. The cursor freeze sometimes and I need to press the tabulator so I can use the cursor again.

Do not buy!!! Warranty service people suck. They would not replace a simple glass AFTER the fact the representative made me send it in, wasting my time and theirs as well as their money on shipping. There are way better laptop manufacturers out there that would not mind replacing a GLASS for you at no cost. Stop being cheap HP. Just the warranty experience alone is enough to loose my business FOREVER. Afterall, We'd like to know that our products would be replaced for something minor.
