Owned this about year and a half. Just now was advised that the hard drive is ok but the motherboard is fried because the cord connection is a weak spot and if used or moved frequently it destroys the motherboard. Just be advised. Its apparently an HP problem on other computers also. Get the Pro series which has the connections in the back of the computer.

It's pretty, perfect size, and have enough memory for use it at home, or study. The weight is a little bit heavy, if you compare it with the new slim and light notebook and laptops... but if you don't need to use it for travel, or business, or to carry anywhere, it's perfect.

Had it 3 years and still love this little computer

I bought this computer new from Walmart in 2012. Also got the matching carry case and the matching mouse. Love the butterfly designs, which was my initial draw. But the performance of this little machine has been outstanding. I have taken it with me on long airplane trips, and long vehicle travels, and have not had a minutes trouble from it. It is small in size and light in weight compared to my previous laptop computers, but still functions as well as they ever did. It is now 2015, and I still love it. I am sorry to see some bad review on this machine, and I wonder if those were reviews from folks having bought a used machine instead of a new one?

Very Disappointed in this computer

Very Disappointed in this computer, I have had nothing but problems out of it since I bought it 2 years ago and I thought that I was getting a good computer at a good price, boy am I fooled. HP Sucks and I will never do any business with them ever again. Another thing is I bought the extended warranty on it and they still wouldn't honor it. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone or any HP Computer at all.
