In June 2015 I received the refurbished HP Envy TouchSmart 17.3" promptly. It looks just like a new version. However there were two initial problems because of re-furbishing. SimplePass option of Sign In did not work. Also this version does not have a pre-installed Microsoft Office which costs around additional $150. I called HP Customer Technical Support at 1-800-474-6836. When I argued that HP should have clarified that it will not carry MS Office, allowing me the option to buy this version or not and that I am returning the product, the Cust Support Tech installed online (via remote access) Apache OpenOffice-4 which works fine. He also rectified the SimplePass problem. Now the machine works well. Display is good, battery holds well and it is fast. A good buy for the price.

This is a good system for the price. The Intel i7 quad core combined with the 16gb of RAM was exactly what I was looking for in an upgrade. The only thing I didn't like about this system was the design of the touchpad not having buttons, making it a bit awkward to left or right click Overall, a good system for the price.

Bought it refurbished. Seller was attentive when I e-mailed to find out delivery time. Delivered in 2 days. AMAZING computer. Everything works fine. The only complaint I have is the mouse is horrible (but that's not the seller's fault). Computer rarely makes noise and doesn't overheat like the traditional HPs.
