The ENVY 17-j140us TouchSmart 17.3" Multi-Touch Notebook Computer from HP features a 17.3" HD+ BrightView widescreen display, which is also a touchscreen so you'll be able to utilize the multi-touch gestures integrated in Windows 8.1 along with the traditional keyboard and touchpad. The display also features LED-backlighting for vibrant color and lower power consumption. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 1600 x 900 native resolution supported by integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600. The system is powered by a quad-core 4th generation Haswell 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7-4710MQ processor. It also has 12GB of DDR3L SDRAM, a 1TB 5400 rpm hard drive + 8GB NAND flash memory, a SuperMulti DVD burner, a multi-format SD media card reader, 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an integrated webcam, and dual array microphones. There are also built-in quad speakers with two subwoofers utilizing Beats Audio technology. Windows 8.1 (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
