We bought this laptop as a refurbished system with a 160 GB solid state disk and a built in CD/DVD player. Before shipment we contacted the seller to upgrade RAM to 8GB. It works really well--it boots so quickly and my extensive Bible software loads unbelievably fast. It weighs only 4.5 lbs. It is an exceptional value!

I just love this laptop. I recomended to buy it . If you r too much into YouTube videos and face book then it's not good.

It's fast and screen resolution is not that good. But good for programming and any developing software it's fast.

Great subcompact laptop and amazing customer service from GoGetComputers

I bought this HP Elitebook 2540p two months ago and it has turned out to be my favoriite all time laptop. It is powerful enough to leave a dozen or more tabs open, maybe 20. Only slightly bigger and heavier than my EEEPC 1000HE, yet plenty resolution for my purposes. Great for streaming Net Flix or Amazon Prime. I got the 120 GB SSD version for extra speed and ruggedness and would have got the 400 GB SSD if I could have afforded it. At the time the only one available had only 4 GB of RAM. I emailed GoGetComputers when I ordered it and asked if it would be possible to have 4 more GB of RAM installed before shipping (on a Sunday night) and Mr. David Jeon, the COO, emailed me back that night and said they would sell me the extra 4 GB for only $45, install it the next morning and ship it out the same afternoon! Last night (Sunday -- two months later) I emailed him again about getting another power adapter, and he emailed me back immediately! My computer came with a very long lasting 6 cell battery, but even longer lasting 9 cell ones are available. I can't say enough for these GoGetComputer people. They are very accommodating and never seem to sleep :)
