The touch pad is touchy but can be turned off. Wish I had invested in a faster processor. Decent battery life. Good sound and graphics. It's a good deal for the price though. Will be staying with HP in the future because of the durability.

But I wish I had. I had a Pavilion Desk Top that lasted 8 years without serving. It ran win XP with SP2.. I'm considering resurrectin it with new software. Unfortunately I bought an Acer laptop for $439. The price was right. It's the OS I can't stand. I has windows 8. The. Latest thing. Take it from me - it doesn't work. I hear win 8.1 is a reversion to XP. But I don't know. It's hard to find. I was told the upgrade was free through the store, but every time I try to open it it can't connect because the server is down. That the story of Widows 8.
