For an everyday laptop it's really pretty good. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of HP's decision to not make this a easily upgradable laptop. Every laptop I've owned has had a easy to get to (1 screw) RAM slot. You have to basically take the entire laptop apart to add RAM or a new SSD harddrive! I'm above average when it comes to working with computer/laptop maintenance and building and this was easily the most aggravating piece of technology I have ever dealt with! The one good thing about the laptop is the specs are good to begin with so a student or even someone tinkering around with photoshop LE will have no reason to need to upgrade anything, but if you plan on getting a good laptop "skeleton" and than upgrading just don't even waste your time!
