This HP refurbished is extremely fast and arrived in a condition that made it impossible to tell it wasn't brand spanking new. As with any store bought pc i had to spend almost an hour removing the included bloatware that always comes pre-loaded. A "free trial" of McAfee? No thanks. There are way better free antivirus solutions. I have vast experience with Windows 7 and Vista but Windows 8 is new to me. From the bad things i heard about Win 8 I'm glad i held out until 8.1. Because Windows 8.1. runs extremely fast and surprisingly smooth for a OS with all of those live tiles going at once.

This laptop comes with the Intel Pentium N3520 Processor which is quad core instead of the average dual core Celeron processors normally included at this price range. Trust me you'll appreciate the quad core's speed over a Celeron anyday.All in all I'm very impressed with the speed of this laptop and i love how i still have my familiar start button, taskbar and desktop that 8.1. brought back to Windows. I eagerly await Windows 10 which looks to be even better .

Highly recommend for the price, condition, speed and the very sexy red color.

I'm from Venezuela and buy this product with out fear of being defective, yet they send to a friend used me I proved for a few days and sending me a week later. The notebook is excellent, comes with 8.1 window is spotless with all original packaging, I did all the tests, music blaring to test the audio, movies in HD, DVD disc good, good wifi connection, excellent usb input , camera and microphone perfect, much improved half the size of my old hp laptop charger, and not heated at all, the computer no weight is very light, soft uuff keyboard like the skin of a baby, the screen is phenomenal high gloss and looks like a LEDTV, the touchpad very precise and smooth to use. What else I can say excellent product and gifted at that price. The box is printed as a refurbished product. IF something comes what will update immediately

Not disappointed at all! LOVE my new red laptop. I purchased this laptop as an upgrade from my bulky, old, acer comuter which served its' purpose well but was due for retirement. This laptop is fast and light weight, perfect for student use which is what I'll mainly be using it for aside from leisure use. so far the only thing slightly bothering me about it is the amount of pressure you have to put on the keys in order for every letter to appear, but this is more than likely because I have long nails. Any ways , definitely purchase if you are debating. cant really beat the price for this amount of quality. I will possibly do another update in a few weeks or a months time

Silly me for thinking paying almost $300 for a computer it is going to last. First one died in a month. The company replaced it in a timely fashion but the second one didn't even last
six months. I suppose if you buy an extended warranty they'll keep on replacing it but what a pain in
the butt it is to have to get another every six months. I don't even use it that much but it sure sucks
to be without one even for a few days. Caveat emptor.
