Please, if you value your sanity and your money, run away from this product.
This will be the last HP product I ever buy. I only bought it to replace my last HP laptop that gave me the blue screen literally 1 day after the warranty ran out. I am a slow learner.
I sent it in for servicing because the colors in the display look terrible. Colors cannot be replicated from one part of the screen to the other. Literally they change when moving an image one centimeter.
Clearly the optimal viewing angle is 15 degrees from the angle from which I am viewing.
When I got it back after the service techs say it passed all checks it took over 8 minutes to reboot. Thinking that it probably needed updates and the rest I let it run.
Then I rebooted again. 4 minutes and 34 seconds to get from the log in screen to the edge splash page or any other program I want to use.
Why was it faster before I sent it in? Why?
Scrolling is lovely. Images start off dark and muddy at the top of the page, but all I have to do is scroll down and watch the image slowly fade out.
If you ever want to know what you favorite actor or actress would look like as an albino, please get this computer and scroll.
This is, by every measure, the worst computer I have ever owned.
BTW. Because I sent it in to get fixed it is now outside of the return window. This is the most painful pc buying experience I have ever had.

Might change over time.

I wish I had purchased the $400 RANGE model and and ipad. The internet connectivity is dreadful. The preloaded apps are not what I would want so I spent loaded of time needlessly deleting, and yet no Windows Office preloaded at this price range.

If I could have tested it and bought what works like I used to be able to at my local Walmart instead of this wasted $500 I would have.
