Never again Hewlett Packard!

I didn't purchase this computer from Amazon, instead from a retail store. All said, I paid approximately $1100.00 three years ago. During that time, I have had to endure replacing both parts of the electrical cords at separate times, sent the computer back because the left hinge was coming apart and breaking the casing on the same side AND now my fan has gone out! What a piece of junk! I thought I would have. This for a long time as I do bring work home. Needless to say, that wasn't the case with this computer. I will never purchase another Hewlett Packard product.

I actually recommended my brother in law to purchase because I have ...

This computer has had nothing but problems. I actually recommended my brother in law to purchase because I have a HP from 6 years ago that is still going strong. This HP is not the case, had to be replaced twice and now is having an issue with the internal LED wire disconnecting and leaving a black screen. Runs slower than my HP from 2009 and it has much better hardware. Very disappointed with the direction HP has taken.

Great Laptop!

This is a fantastic laptop with extreme processing power and complemented by the intel hd 4600 graphics which are very nice as well.

I couldn't be happier

I am very pleased with this purchase. This computer has so much to offer and in ways it is a lot like my phone, in that it operates on Apps. It is fast and I am still learning to master windows 8.1 It is touchy, but I'm certain that is the whole idea in that it operates on a touch screen. I don't know a whole of tech language, but this computer has a tremendous amount of memory and it works great with the writing of my books, the making of my photography teasers for my books, and my photography that I do as a hobby on the side. There are plenty of apps for whatever you're into, and many of them are free. This computer came with a phenomenal Kindle app which I absolutely love. I really don't have any regrets or complaints. I would recommend getting the warranty package with it that covers any unforeseen accidents or spills. If you are looking for a great all the way around computer, this may be just what you need. Whether you are a student, an author, a photographer, or a gamer, this is a great computer.
