The Nifty Fifty of Tablet Computing. Fantastic!

::Update: 5/11/15 - Please review the browser homepage. My default browser on this tablet took me to a fake google.com which tracked my activity. I'm looking into the issue but would caution that you check browser settings if you own or plan to own this tablet.. Update 5/19/15 - Absolutely stellar support from TabletExpress. Their tech team walked me every step of the way and resolved this issue. No more popups, no more fake google. I still recommend that upon purchasing, to check the default homepage on the browser. Also, make sure that no pop ups occur. A company is defined by how they handle issues, not by having a clean record. I truly hope that the issues were the result of an app and not the makers of the tablet. Currently, I trust Tabletexpress and truly believe in their sincerity. They handled my concerns and we're immediately responsive. Great job!

Wow

Hear me out on this. I'm going to break this Tablet down on paper as well as in video because I really want you to make an educated decision as to why this Tablet is just a fantastic piece of Tech. To start it's $50, they have a term for a Canon Lens called the Nifty Fifty because for $50...why not? That's exactly how I feel about this tablet.

It has a form factor which is smaller than my favorite Nexus 7 (2013). The budget priced tablet comes with a few sacrifices, the screen is in no way comparable to the Nexus and neither is the ram, however performance is actually pretty snappy on with this new quad core model.

For the price the tablet packs a good amount of features with adequate resolution and Bluetooth capability. I synced this up to my BT speakers in a matter of minutes. It's lightweight, weighing in slightly more than the Nexus 7. It has a micro SD slot which can support up to 32gb.Read more ›

Great for the price!

Theres a lot to talk about in this review. As always theres a video attached to this review. This tablet is great for the price. You can't be the price of this tablet. This tablet isn't comparable to the iPad. For under $50 dollars you can get a table that will let you surf the internet, play games and watch videos. This tablet can go beyond the basic too. Downloading apps for this tablet was a breeze. A 98MB app downloaded under a minute. This is because of the quad core. This tablet offers 1.3 GHZ. The tablet also has 512MB of RAM. The kingPad K70 can perform well and doesn't have any lag time. Watching youtube videos were quick to load and performance was clear. This tablet is great for kids. Any parents out there, this is a tablet that can do everything your kids will need.

Smart purchase!

I have been using this tablet for about 4 weeks and let me share my great experience with you guys. It has been working really good for me. The battery timing is good and the tablets functions smooth. It doesn't lag or get slow if you use if correctly. Might be ordering another one for my friend!

First, I want to let you know right up front that I received this tablet free for the purpose of review. My goal in reviewing it is to share my observations and impressions and hope that they prove helpful to you in your decision making. If you have specific questions, feel free to post them in the comments section and I'll do my best to answer them based on my experience with the product.

What you're getting with this order is the KingPad K70 from TabletExpress. It's a 7" tablet with a quad core processor and 8GB memory and appears as pictured in the product description photos. Also included is a micro-USB cord for charging and data transfer and a set of written and illustrated instructions for quick start and trouble shooting.

One of the first things I want to talk about is making sure we're comparing apples to apples here. At the posting of this review, the KingPad is at the $50 price point which I call the budget price point. Up until recently, a tablet in this price range had no access to Google Play and thus apps were highly limited. They tended to have a single core processor and were painfully slow, display was poor and they had a very short life span. Add to all of these problems that they were generally made and offered by companies who didn't bother to back them up. In short, they were $50 doorstops within a couple of months and were pretty frustrating during the short time that they did work.

Well, all of that has changed and the KingPad is the very best that I've tested at this price point. In fact, I'll say this: if you're looking for a new tablet and need to stay in the budget price range then you can stop reading right now because I'll make it simple for you, this is as good as it gets. Amazing little tablet

This little tablet is amazing, for a lower end tablet, it blows some of the higher end tablets away, with the quad core processing, boot time front and rear cameras, and since it is running android kit Kat most of the popular apps like Facebook, Gmail, and Netflix etc. are supported by the device. It holds a decent charge for a tablet. We are fairly impressed with this tablet and glad we decided to go with this one.
