So far so good.

I looked quite a while for something not too big or small that looked professional and would stand on the floor and from which stuff could be extracted without falling over and not cost a small fortune. Here it is. The concern is that the 'dermal faux leather' may not last. But plastic imitation leathers can be pretty good... so decided to give it a try and avoid banging it into sharp objects. After receipt: the imitation leather looks good, the internal corner seams are taped and the sewing is good, and so is the hardware. The latches take a little getting used to but work ok and can be opened one-handed. The padded laptop compartment takes up quite a bit of room inside the bag, so I cut it out. The shoulder strap is just basic... you get what you pay for. Replaced it with an Op-Tech strap from a previous purchase which is comfortable. The bag looks like the photos and is light weight. Overall pleased.

I picked this because I was tired of backpacks and other bags falling forward. and falling off chairs and tables... I love the way it stands up on it's own. I just wish there was a little more space for bigger things.
