Given the wide variety of memory modules available in the market, it was quite easy to get confused asto which to buy. Kingston is quite well reputed in the memory space, and I was keeping my fingers crossed that it would work on the MacBook Pro 2011 Model 13". And lo-behold! It works!
So far its working well, I see a huge difference in pushing up the ram from 4GB to 8GB. Running the latest version of Mac OSX - OS X 10.9!

I have an "Early 2011" MacBook Pro 15" that only had 4GB total of RAM. Since upgrading to OS X Mavericks, my computer became very sluggish and constantly running out of memory. I replaced the two 2GB RAM sticks that came with my MacBook with two of these 4GB RAM sticks to bring me up to the max 8GB RAM for my MacBook. Install was easy and my machine runs SO MUCH BETTER now! It's like a new machine.

I have tried twice to get a second 4GB SODIMM, but both times this one was shipped: Kingston Value RAM 4GB 1333MHz PC3-10600 DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 SODIMM SR X8 Notebook Memory (KVR13S9S8/4); instead of this one that I ordered: Kingston ValueRam 4GB PC3-10600 CL9 204-Pin SODIMM Notebook Memory KVR1333D3S9/4G. Notice the difference in the part numbers at the end of each nomenclature string. The one I wanted and shown in the picture has two rows of four chips on the SODIMM. The one that was shipped out the twice has a single row of four chips on the SODIMM, and my Lenovo T500 just beeps twice and shuts off. I've had to return both orders.

I needed to add memory to my Mac. Apple's site did not have any accessories for it, so I ordered Kingston RAM sticks from Amazon. It is perfect fit, twice the volume at half the price of the original sticks as offered by Apple store.

Since I saw only 2 (mostly negative) reviews about this RAM, I thought I should set the record straight: this is a standard RAM module from one of the largest memory suppliers. There's nothing wrong with it, and it should work fine as long as your computer motherboard supports it. It is working fine on my Thinkpad T420 / Intel i5-2520M CPU @ 2.50 GHz which is now 2 years old, so I guess any of the recent laptops should support it. I just followed the simple instructions that came with it. You can also search for instruction videos on Youtube. After installation, the laptop booted up just fine, and when I checked my installed memory by typing in "memory" in the Windows 7 start bar and selecting "Show how much RAM is on this computer" it showed the updated RAM (8 GB in my case). A quick rerun of the Windows Experience Index also updated the sub-score for Memory to 7.1.

The only additional tip I can share is that if you're planning to buy this on Amazon, stick to Amazon as the seller (ships from and sold by Amazon).

I bought it to extend memory on my iMac mid 2011 and it fits and works perfectly, absolutely no issues.

I should have been more careful buying these for the Dell stated since the model (E6410) doesn't even show up on the Kingston website seach dropdown.
Well, I never had problems with any of the memory upgrades from Kingston (servicing several Lenovo and Dell models) and the memory in the systems where the PC3 10600 cl9 even mixed brands and size (3GB split by a 1GB and a 2GB), so I bought it.

It appears it is being accepted by the BIOS but will give you a hard time booting/installing W7 Ultimate 64.
W7 Ultimate is the only "real" OS I have tested, though the live XP-PE boot CD/usb stick didn't crash but I wouldn't consider this as tested successfully under XP or so.

Sysprepped image installed with old mem config = OK
Replaced memory config: 2GB + 4GB Kingston = BSOD (BAD_POOL_HEADER or 0x00000700)
Replaced memory config: 4GB Kingston + 2GB = BSOD (BAD_POOL_HEADER or 0x00000700)
Replaced memory config: 4GB Kingston = BSOD (BAD_POOL_HEADER or 0x00000700)
Replaced memory config: 4GB Kingston + 4GB Kingston = Computer restarts during Windows start without any visible error code

Sysprepped image installed with 1x4GB Kingston config = Windows config starts and just hangs up/stalls. No reboot nor BSOD

Also, the system I had had a fairly old firmware installed (A05).
Installed A09 = BSOD
Installed A16 = BSOD

My verdict = doesn't work with Dell Latitude E6410

Bought this for my laptop and even though the this Kingston memory match my laptop memory specs, they were not compatible.
After installing the memory, it kept rebooting my laptop before it had the chance to start the boot process. The BIOS recognized all 8GB RAM.
Did a memory test and it was taking a really long time. I ran it for about 5 hours and it was still at 1% progress. I tested one memory stick at a time.
I booted with one memory stick at a time and it would boot up, however performance was very poor. Had to force shut down my laptop. Went with crucial same specs as this Kingston and works and performs well. I might of received a bad pair from Kingston, but then again I've read reviews here with same results. I didn't want to bet on another pair of Kingston, so again i went with Crucial.
