I bought this for my dell inspiron 17r. my Dell battery died after one year. A replacement is 3 times the cost of this one.

The battery was shipped out quickly and it arrived quickly as well.

so far, its working great. i have read reviews from other sellers and a lot of the non oem batteries are crap.this one is holding up fine. if anything does go wrong, i will update.

We were very pleased with how quickly we received this battery. It came with great instructions, as well as troubleshooting tips. It says to use the laptop until the battery fully drains before recharging, for 5-6 times. We've done this once so far, and all is good, and really don't expect any problems from now on. If this battery lasts as long as the one that came with our laptop (less than 2 yrs), we will be completely satisfied. For the price, and quality, this one can't be beat!

Good replacement battery

The original battery for my Dell Inspiron was dead. It would no longer take a charge after three years of continuous use. I decided to try this battery due to the price. I have been using this battery for almost three months now with only one minor drawback. It does take a charge fully and the battery lasts for over three hours with heavy internet and Windows use, which is on-par with the original factory-installed Dell battery. However, occasionally the battery indicator on my computer will blink red and I will get a message that says the computer does not recognize the battery and therefore will not charge it. I found that I can turn off the computer, remove the battery, reinsert it, turn the computer on, and the computer will again recognize the battery and will continue to charge it. This is a slight inconvenience and the reason why I gave the product four stars. I am happy with this purchase and I would recommend this to anyone that doesn't want to spend a lot of money to replace their battery. The battery also had a 30-day guarantee, so I knew that if it didn't work on my computer, I could return it.
