This battery performed better than expected,I like the fact that it is bigger than the standard battery and raises the back end of the laptop about 3/4 of an inch, providing better ventillation, but that fact should be shared in the ad. I get about 8 hours of usage in power saver mode!

too heavy or does not seat well

This battery is so heavy it does not seat well in my computer which causes it to pull out sometimes when lifting laptop. I went back to 6 cell battery which does not last as long but does not fall out of the back f my computer.

Great battery - exceeeds expectations

Has worked perfectly thus far (2 weeks) right out of the box. Was about 70% charged upon arrival. Follow the instructions to let the battery charge go to 5% before initially charging. The 12 cell extended sized replacement battery is larger than the OEM 6 cell sized battery and will stick slightly out from the bottom of your laptop when installed. The larger battery allows the keyboard to sit at a slightly inclined angle (screen side higher than keyboard) which I find is an unexpected positive, ergonomic benefit The extra sized battery (12 vice 6 cell; 8800mAh vice 4400) gives you double the runtime, as advertised) of a standard battery letting you work longer (5-7 hours depending on settings) between charges thus far. Very pleased with this battery.
