The battery died on my Inspiron 15R (n5010). I was hesitant to try a non-Dell battery, since many of the batteries receive bad reviews or buyers said the battery did not fit their laptop. This battery received decent reviews though, and previous buyers confirmed (thank you!) that they also have n5010's and it fit fine. I have used it now for a month without any problems. I get about 2-2.5 hours from the battery, same as with my old Dell battery.

Does not appear to have much of capacity. Actually read the directions included. And it says to fully charge and drain down to 7% and never below 7%. And to fully cycle it 3 times. Well we charged it to 100% and let it go down to 7% and started to charge again. After charging over night to 100% now using the battery only to go down to 7% again. Within 1 hour it was already reading 25%. On wifi but not watching videos or anything. Not using cd drive. So right now I cannot give it a very good review due to the low storage capacity. A couple hours on a fully charged fresh battery while not using high drain components is not a good battery. A couple hours is better than the 3 year old stock battery. But it's 3 years old an worn out.

Followed the instructions on charging the battery & it works perfectly! It fastens into the computer easily but it is a tight fit when removing it so it is not going to fall out if the latches get opened up by accident.

I was skeptical buying an inexpensive battery, but after keeping faith in reviews, i bought this one. I have been using this battery for just over a day now. Runs perfectly well. Giving me a usage time of around 2.5 hours on a full charge which is pretty good. Please read the instructions the seller has left in pamphlet provided in the package to optimize the battery life. Will update my review after using the product for some time.

It took about 8 charges, but it finally proved to be a decent battery. At first I was disenchanted, getting only an hour more time than my 5 year old Dell original. Now it seems to hang in there quite well. So, yes, I would buy this battery again, and I do recommend it! Perhaps I'll edit at a later date and hopefully be able to change the rating to 5 stars.

Today is my first use for the battery, it was mentioned to fully charge and then use till 7% for the first 3 uses, in the first use it lasted for a very reasonable time "about 3 hours" if it will be like this it will be great
