Great purchase, if you need a new battery.

After installing I get around 3-4 hours of battery life after a full charge (I have a Dell Latitude E5420 that I use at full brightness with full brightness of keyboard on), and when I play online video games I can almost 2 hours of battery life (same settings). I would definitely recommend purchasing this if your battery is dying every 30 minutes after a full charge.

Latitude E6420 - bought battery a month ago. Fits perfect and lasts good. I have upgraded to SSD so my battery may last longer than others but for the price compared to a Dell battery, you will not be disappointed. I am getting 3-4 hours out of this one.

It's okay... I mean, it's compatible and recognized by my Latitude 6520.

I have an SSD in this thing and was getting close to 6 hours with the OEM 9 cell that was well used prior to the SSD.

I was disappointed to put this guy in and after several cycles, the best I can do is about 2 hours, which is a bit unacceptable seeing as the description says 2 hours, which I need to believe is with a conventional platter HDD.

I'm wishing I would have just chalked up the extra money and got an authentic Dell 9 cell elsewhere on the net.

Not happy

At about the 3 month mark I began to notice that the battery indicator icon in my Win7Pro system tray was showing the battery to be "not charging" and at only about 67% but it would show this and seemed to stay this way for weeks at a time. A few times I unplugged and re-plugged the power cord to my docking station and that started the charging process. But then a few days later I would notice back down at 67% or so. Recently I've noticed it at 0% and "not charging". When I pulled the plug to restart the charging my laptop at 0% dies instantly (guess that System Tray Notification was telling the truth this time). This battery was dying in the first 30 days and now it is completely shot in less than 6 months. Here's hoping the seller contacts me from this post because I don't see a way to contact them for a warranty claim and the "Return" function on Amazon's site is not available because I'm past that initial 30 days. Not happy about this.

It is seemed like the battery could not supply enough current

I am not sure if this will happen to everyone, but I tried 2 of these batteries in two different E 6520 laptops with quad core processors, and the computer would randomly shut down (hard) when on the battery. It is seemed like the battery could not supply enough current. When I forcibly throttled the CPU back, and then un-plugged the laptops the computer did not have the same issues. Very disappointing.
