The computer cable lock has a steel construction and is strong. Will secure any laptop or notebook. Lock also includes 2 keys. Cable measures 6 feet long and is 4MM thick. Please note that will be do our best to ensure that the lock fits most laptop as it is in fact a standard lock. Some brands of laptop make their locking hole slightly different to the standard locking hole that 99.9 percent of laptops use. This is something a generic device such as our laptop lock can not avoid. This is a list of laptops we are are of that the device does not work on: NOT SUITABLE FOR MACS, DELL LATITUDE, DELL XPS 13, LENOVO THINKPAD OR GATEWAY NE56R52U. Please don't purchase the laptop lock if you have one of these model and if you find the product doesn't work upon purchasing the lock please contact us via Amazon messages.

Peace of mind

I ordered this laptop cable lock for my daughter to use at college so she can feel better about leaving her laptop in her room when she is out for activities. This comes with a nice long cable so it is plenty long enough to reach to secure it to a stationary item. My husband is going to use it when he goes on his business trip shortly and will be spending a week in a hotel so he can secure his laptop when he leaves to eat dinner. This laptop lock comes with 2 keys, which is great in case one gets misplaced or a laptop is shared. It attaches easily to a computer - we tried it on both mine and my husband's. The only issue I have with it is that it cannot be adjusted to fit tightly to the laptop like some other models do, so it fits loosely and not flush against the laptop. It still works fine, I just worry a little it could catch on something. If it's removed when not in use rather than left in place, it shouldn't be an issue. Aside from that, it works great and gives peace of mind that their laptops should be where they left them when they return. I received this laptop cable lock at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Everyone needs a cable look. You have no idea when you will be the victim of a burglary and don't think it can't happen to you. I got the call from family that their home was burglarized and their expensive laptop stolen. We were in shock and couldn't believe it as this neighborhood never had these issues ever. I saw this product and thought this would be a great gift to help them keep their replacement laptop safe and also give them some peace of mind. I received this product at a discount for my honest review and opinion. The opinions stated are my own.

will save you the devastation of losing your laptop

This is great to protect your laptop from being stolen. It could be very disappointing if someone stole my laptop with all my pictures,files,private information,work information,etc. it could be gone in a sec if not careful so I was excited to get this cable laptop protector. I have been using my personal laptop at work and because of renovations happening we have moved our office outdoors in an open area. Here in hawaii alot of our hotel staff operates outdoors because of our nice weather. There are so many people in and out of our property you just never know. I always worry about my laptop when I walk away when I have to with guests, that I would take the time to lock it up in a safe not close to my desk..now I am able to leave my laptop right on my desk without the hassle of locking it up and feel safe about it. I feel alot better with it out in the open because of this cable. Of course I do have my Co workers looking out but it could only take a sec for someone to snatch it so with this it's securely at attached to my desk. I just wrapped it around one leg part of my desk that is bolted into the cement and attach it to my laptop. The cable is 6 ft long & 4mm. There are 2 keys so if you lose one at least there is a spare. The only thing I didn't like about this was that it fits loosely against my laptop, now that doesn't mean it's not secure it just has that loose part that hangs a little off the laptop. This cable can not be easily broken and is strong and sturdy. Overall I am happy with the cable for my laptop it definitely protects it from being stolen. Helps me feel more safe with leaving it at my work station and it's easy to use. It will defintely save you the devastation!

My husband's company has recently moved into a "new" free-standing office building. It used to be a tire shop sitting on a one acre lot on the side of a busy highway. It's a perfect location for his business but the only other building close to it is an auto repair shop about 1/4 mile away. Although he has totally rebuilt the building inside and out, and it is in a safe part of town, the mere fact that it sits pretty much alone makes it a safety hazard for computer equipment.

THAT is why he needed this computer cable lock from Orange Shopping Deals.

Most of the valuable equipment is secured but when my husband takes his personal laptop in to work, the laptop isn't. It is so much easier for him to simply lock his laptop with this cable when he arrives and unlock it when he comes home than to have to shut everything down every time he walks out the door. He simply wraps the cable around around the leg of his desk and secures his laptop computer once a day!

Oh, I guess I should mention that the computer table is VERY heavy PLUS it is nailed to the floor. lol. If someone wants his laptop while he is out to lunch or visiting with a client away from the building, they will have to take the desk and part of the building with them.
