Nice manuscript bag!!

I am a writer and like to carry my manuscripts and notes wherever I go. It is not my nature to purchase things like this, but I must say that I love it so far. The strap is OK but I really like the handle better. It looks cool and is, I think, distinctive. Someone mentioned the funky smell of the bag. I didn't care for the odor either, but I wiped the bag down with a fabric softener sheet, and it helped greatly.

Suggestions I would make to improve the bag: (1) have a very small thin pouch on the back of the bag for things like a newspaper or plane tickets ( so you won't have to open the bag to retrieve them); (2). Have a small separate compartment for pens and pencils...yes, I am old fashioned and do not use a laptop.

Definitely meant for someone tall. I'm 5'-3" and I had to poke new holes in the strap to adjust down. But the leather is nice and so far no issues.
