Beautiful, basic protection

This is more of a light duty case that is better suited for office and trips to the local cafe. That is not as moch a criticism as my wanting to set expectations. The reason I believe it is a light duty case is my review sample has relatively thin padding, but still provides basic protection from scuffs, scrapes and possibly a fall on a carpet.

I love the interior, which is some sort of plush, velvet-like material. The outside is stunningly beautiful. It is vividly colored and looks like a fine brocade from only a few feet away. But while this provides basic protection, it is not a shoddy case. The zipper is heavy duty, as are the pull tabs and should last a long time if not abused.

The interior is 14 inches by 9.5 inches, so this will hold most 13 inch laptops as claimed in the product description. Of course, it also doubles as a wonderful briefcase because it easily holds legal sized paper with room to spare for pens and other small items.

One of the main reasons I awarded this five stars is price and function, At the time of this review this was ten bucks and exceeded my expectations for a case at even three times the price. In fact, I actually compared this to some fairly generic cases at a local Walmart and this beat all of them in construction and price, and was infinitely more attractive.

Perfect design and size! It's so nice and cute even inside. It smells like a "new fabric" but not too bad. I am looking forward to carrying my laptop in this cute BOHO pouch everywhere on campus.
