I decided to try this battery as it looked exactly like the original I took out of my old Dell D600 laptop.
It came very fast, well packaged and works exactly as described. I would give this product 10 stars if I could.
This is a highly cost effective way of replacing your old battery.

Battery stopped charging after 2 months

Was looking to replace my wife's laptop battery, checked Dell's site. Seemed expensive there, looked here and
read the reviews, some good some not so good but over all more positive than negative. Ordered the replacement
and installed. Has been over a month now and absolute no issues. Charges fine, holds charge as long as the Dell
did if not longer and cost less than one fifth what Dell had for retail price. Overall we would recommend to friends as well will update our other laptop when the time comes with this unit.

Should have lasted at least a few months

The battery came charged and after the charge died, I tried charging it as I normally would by plugging in the laptop charger and although it prevents my laptop from dying it does not recharge the battery. I had purchased a non Dell battery before and was at least able to charge that battery for a few months before the battery wouldn't charge with my plug. Now I'm back in the same situation as before having to have the laptop plugged in at all times if not it dies because it does not recognize the battery.

I ordered a replacement battery for my husbands laptop. His was fine but since i ordered the charger and saw the battery at such a low price I thought "what the heck". Well you get what you pay for. It does'nt hold a charge very long, not as long as the old one we already had.
