It works ok... wish it lasted longer

My old battery lasted about 10hrs. It went as low as 20mins so i replaced it.This new one last about 3hrs on low power stetting and it is much lighter. It is better than my old one but, its not what i expected in terms of battery life.

Charged once and then caused system crash

After receiving this item, I charged the battery for 24 hr, drained it completely (~3%) and recharged it once again. Anytime afterwards, my laptop would bluescreen, reporting a hardware problem in WinDbg, within 2 min of removal from a power source.

I was able to return the product with a full refund; thus, my advice is to watch the return policy...

Battery initially charged as expected and provided about 2 hours of run time.

Within a few days it stopped charging past about 60%, the laptop fan ran continuously, and random shutdowns occurred. Then it just stopped completely. Machine would not boot at all. Fortunately I had the old battery that, while only providing about 10 minutes or run time, it worked, the fan stopped running all the time, and the computer would boot.

Replacement batteries are always a gamble. I have purchased a couple that outlasted original batteries, and some that would not work at all. Reviews don't seem to provide much insight into what you can expect. The old "individual results may vary" applies here.

I was lucky in that it failed within the return period. Just barely.

Never buy this battery

I just purchused a battery for my computer. I charged 24hrs, wich is supposed to be done that way. When I removed my charger and it wasn't charged correctly, even if you try to charge it as long as you want, doesn't charge fully. Still I tried to charge it again and still doesn't work!!, even if on the computer says it is charging and has a full charge and then try to unplug the charger is like you used have of it... I just can't believe that!

have had my laptop about 5 years & my old battery would barely last 5 minutes. i bought this one because it was cheap & i like the fact that it's more lightweight than what i had. it lasts about an hour. would be nice if it lasted longer, but you get what you pay for! i didn't see a point in spending a lot of money on an old computer that i plan to replace in the next year or so. this battery works just fine for what i need.
