Seems almost identical to OEM keyboard, except for the ribbon cable

Excellent replacement. The only issue was the end of the ribbon that needs to be plugged into the motherboard is not very stiff and was very difficult to get in all the way. The first time I thought I had it in, but upon turning on the laptop, only about half the keys worked. After carefully pushing and prodding the ribbon into the slot, I finally got it to work.

Installed it no problems but some keys do not register unless i press it hard or multiple times which is annoying, my last keyboard was a lighter touch and quieter than this (pressing it harder is louder).

It might just need breaking in but from my experience it doesn't get much better. Decent enough for the price and it works otherwise.
