I received the rolling laptop bag quickly and it was in perfect condition. I have received countless compliments on it. It is small enough to fit under your desk, in the front seat of your car, or overhead on a plane. It is large enough to fit my laptop, iPad, clothes and shoes for one night or two. The front compartments hold my cell phone, charger cables, and file folders. The handle can be short or long, and I have no issues with it. Great buy!

Totally a great case!

It is much better than I expected.

The quality seems very good and it appears it should last and hold up well.

I didn't know the Solo brand and I expected it to be cheap, but no way.

I had wanted something that was not too large to carry miscellaneous stuff when I take the bus. Shoulder bags and backpacks seem to hurt my back more and more as I become an old duffer.

By being able to roll it I can do much better without hurting my back.

What I like is that it is not one of those super thick computer travel bags with multiple compartments. It is a little larger than a regular briefcase so it is easy to carry by the handle to board busses or walk short distances but can morph into rolling mode quickly when walking longer distances.

It has two main compartments. A smaller organizer compartment in the front for smaller stuff and the main compartment in the rear near the handle and wheels for a laptop. This compartment has two nicely padded sleeves each of which could be used for a laptop or tablet. I just put my 15 inch laptop in them and it fit perfectly, but a wider one may not fit in the sleeves.

The main compartment also has room to pack a few things in addition to a laptop for overnighting or daily junk to carry around.

The zippers are very smooth to operate.

On the front of the case are two additional pockets shown. One smaller zippered to hold quickly needed items, like wallet, passes, keys or whatever you want somewhat zipper secured. The wider one is not zipped or velcroed but allows you to slip things in and out easily like magazines, or whatever you want without needing to unzip anything.

My previous computer overnight bag had more than a million airline miles when it ... dissolved. It took a few trips for this bag to become as good a friend, since the configuration of compartments is different than I was used to However, as I have used it, this bag is even better - longer, adjustable handle, wide stance on the wheels, low center of gravity (if you are an engineer running through an airport, you know how important these points are). It seems to be very durable (only about 50,000 miles on it so far).

The bottom compartment, with elastic straps, is obviously intended for clothing. Okay, I put a few clothes there in case my suitcase doesn't arrive. But I also put a note folder (the kind you take to a meeting with a pad inside) on the top, as a divider to make an additional compartment for my network cables, international power adapters, spare computer battery, removable CD reader, etc.

It has a very useful mix of large and small compartments, inside and outside of the main zipper. The only thing still missing is a key ring to hold my home and car keys in a fixed place so I can find them quickly as I drag home - my wife is promising to fix that!

Bought this for my husband since he wanted something like this. Arrived quickly. Liked everything about it, but the handle. Thought about sending it back because the handle shakes so much - especially on one side. I know it's suppose to give a little, but it just seemed unsteady and that it might not last long.

- All the space in it is great to carry clothes on a small trip.
- Decently padded compartment for laptop computers.
- Front pocket is very useful.
- Rolls smooth.

CONS:

- The handle is attached with a zipper (not sewed) It took very few days to open up and it's impossible to fix unless you sew it together. That made it look ugly.
- The sewing on the corners are kinda ugly and looks it's badly made. Not a big deal.

If they sew the handle instead of putting a zipper, it would get 5 stars.
Good product for it's price.

For anyone who needs to know, this definitely is NOTwaterproof. Quite a problem if you are using this to get back & forth to work with a laptop or files unless you put everything inside into their own plastic bags or can figure out an ingenious way to wrap it (an over-sized/large shopping bag from a local retailer works, but sure doesn't look professional).

Might be fine for an overnight trip, as the name indicates.

Would love some sort of an outside pocket or sleeve for a water bottle when commuting. I wouldn't trust a loose bottle inside as it is one open space other than two sleeves inside the front panel for a laptop and/or files. (Obviously for plane travel, this is a non-issue due to liquid restrictions.)

Okay for hauling things around that you shouldn't be carrying, but the plastic portion of the handle separated on mine prior to the snow flying (this only had ~14 weeks of use and it probably broke around the half-point).

I suspended use for a crazy Chicago winter, and am back to using this again since the snow is gone, but I'm not thrilled.

For students interested in using this for hauling textbooks not available electronically (and/or electronic devices), I'd look for an alternate option & confirm that your bag is waterproof if you have to walk any signficant distance outside.
